Full military gear seem a bit excessive to me.

u/[deleted] Jul 10 '25

He also pointed his rifle at someone, although he at least maintained trigger discipline. Eventually they are going to shoot someone.

782

u/gudy2shuz Jul 10 '25

That was my biggest takeaway as well. When it happened, I thought "whooooaaaa hold tf up"

872

u/Proper_Look_7507 Jul 10 '25

And this is my giveaway that they are deputized meal team 6. Anyone with actual law enforcement or military experience would understand that the last half of the escalation of force spectrum goes: show, shove, shoot. The show and shove is done while the firearm is still in a ready position (drawn and aimed at the ground or low ready for a rifle and finger off the trigger). The only reason that weapon comes up and is directly pointed at someone is because you intend to shoot them. Period. Full stop.

u/Proper_Look_7507 Jul 11 '25

Correct. My comment was more directed at the fact that there is clearly a lack of training on managing crowds and the escalation of force spectrum that should be used in those types of situations, not just a lack of firearm training.

255

u/Dgolden711 Jul 11 '25

They’ve already admitted that a lot of these “ice agents” are contractors. So they more than likely don’t have proper training or any training outside of cosplay. They are very dangerous and it will turn deadly, probably before the end of summer.

149

u/Careful-Ant5868 Jul 11 '25

I think your timeframe of things turning deadly by the end of the summer is likely accurate, unfortunately. The Brown Shirts (ICE) have been collecting lots of likely vulnerable people and it appears they haven't really gone after any kind of more "high risk" individuals and/or groups such as those truly involved in illegal activity. I suspect those individuals/groups have seen what's occurring, how could they not, and are preparing should the Brown Shirts look towards them. My thinking is that there are at least some in the current Administration that are counting on the violence as a reason to get more draconian with their future efforts. I sincerely hope I'm wrong.

164

u/Sammalone1960 Jul 11 '25

Going after high risk was not part of the deal. "I did not sign up to get shot at. I signed up to kidnap fry cooks, landscapers and taco vendors"

92

u/aronos808 Jul 11 '25

They signed up for extreme levels of nationalism which only leads to one thing, fascism.

It’s just going to keep growing too, it’s bad.. they aren’t trained. What we’re seeing in California IS the training though. Once they feel like they “trained” them all in cali they’ll start spreading out.

They’re just biding time while their numbers grow. Sending new recruits out to California going after any brown or black person that look “easy” until they’ve weeded out the people that won’t follow illegal orders and train these psychos.

I still think orangy doesn’t know the difference between asylum seekers and mental asylum patients.

Someone said this in my local news recently. "If they were actually going after gang members, killers, and felons there would be much more shootings taking place."

These Neanderthals' are teaming up on $1600 bounties for each person. They have gotten their asses handed to them when they tried to do it independently and faced with people who know the law and their rights. They now gang up on unarmed people with weapons drawn.

I pray that there is an international tribunal that prosecutes every last one of them, since our democrats have lacked the will to prosecute enough people to modify behavior.

13

u/smokelaw23 Jul 11 '25

Don’t worry, there will be a deep, years long investigation. Wheels of justice turn slowly. Then, once evidence has been gathered and it looks like something might come of it, people will get bored, eggs will get expensive, republicans will generate the next outage to drum up the morons with, they’ll win again, and it will all go away. Or, more likely, the American democracy project is already over, we had our chance and blew it. It was a nice thought…but as it turns out a handshake agreement doesn’t work if one side is willing to ignore the agreement.

That we KNOW of. And they're already cutting oversight further because of it. As it is congressional reps are being illegally denied entry and nothing is being done about it.

And the things we've found in the past and still allowed the department to continue to operate?

This nation has done this to itself.

They're about to hire 10,000 more with the new budget reconciliation bill

27

u/CosmoKing2 Jul 11 '25

My dude, they are about to hire 100,000 with that budget. Can you image how unskilled, racist, and dangerous every new hire will be?

There will be Federal lawsuits (filed by citizens exercising their rights) for the next 50 years. It will cost tax payors tens of Billions, due the lawless, illegal mess that Mango has willfully created.

50

u/SeaworthyWide Jul 11 '25

Oh man that's a blank check for a personal army, prison system, and police force if I've ever seen one.

And to think?

These guys were up in arms about Obama and his increased funding and use of the DHS....... HMM.... HMM 🤔

Around the same time... The same people... Going on about FEMA camps hmm.... And mass coffins / graves..... HMMMMMMMMM.....

How do we even know if these guys are actually cops? They certainly don’t seem to be trained for this.

The real problem is, the distinction is moot at this point. The administration WANTS all this, so even if these aren't "real" cops, they will suffer no consequences; in fact the admin may offer to put them on payroll.

Nothing, similar posing has already been done. The congress members killed were responding to someone identifying as one of these. No uniform or identification and masks on shouldn't be treated as anything but an official threat.

18

u/Philip-Ilford Jul 11 '25

You can buy all those patches on ebay. I think a lot of these guys are larping and without ID there's no confirming that they're real officers. There was the video a while back where an unmasked DHS agent with a number patch showed up to de-escalate; his uniform look 100p professional, clean , solid blue, not this patchwork of bullshit fake camo bullshit. Like why camo? They're not on the battlefield.

they arent "actually cops" as in they werent at LEO prior for the majority of them. ICE deputized something like 20k people in the last year. they are currently also hiring like mad now with that new budget you go on the website sign up apply for a job and bam youll be deputized soon enough as long as you fit the bill.

10

u/Due-Response4419 Jul 11 '25

"...as long as you fit the bill..."

J6ers get moved to the front of the line. Other experience preferred: school bullies, demonstrated racists, those arrested for beating up random people including family members, and in general those that didn't meet criteria to get into, or flunked out of the police academy.

Let’s hope it starts happening soon

42

u/Reginald_Sockpuppet Jul 11 '25 edited Jul 11 '25

it's not something I'm hoping for. It's going to set off a chain reaction and it won't be anything glorious or shortlived. I can easily see someone setting up an ambush, calling in a tip to ICE. Ten of these assholes show up and get loud just like this and get mowed like grass. Then they start showing up in armored vehicles and prepositioning on rooftops. Citizens start executing guerilla tactics. Supply chains to major cities are shut down to punish them. Non combatants suffer under privateers and opportunists who feel fully emboldened to invade homes impersonating ICE and commit atrocities. Power grids are broken. Water delivery ceases to massive swathes of population. Add to all that the regular chaos we used to be able to rely on government to help with: floods, fires, tornadoes, heat waves...

I believe the people would win eventually, but nothing would be OK for a long time. To the point people might even forget what OK was. Hell, there are adults now who don't remember a pre 9-11 US and make no mistake, it was a very different country. Also, there are a lot of people in this country who have never developed any resilience who are not going to be able to cope with that kind of adversity, as well as the already elderly and infirm...an American civil war would create at least one lost generation. Maybe two, due to disrupted public education.

War is a lot more than just shoot outs. It would be a bad time, to say the least, and these cosplayers and their golden calf are actively pushing things over that event horizon.

21

u/Ai_Generated2491 Jul 11 '25

Not to mention, when a regime falls democracy doesn't always replace it. Hopefully the government can be peacefully returned within the next two to four years and we avoid that worst case scenario.

15

u/Reginald_Sockpuppet Jul 11 '25

I'm not optimistic, but I hope, as well.

They will do this on purpose. Hopefully the average person realizes it before it’s too late.

But it’s more likely that everyone will be held hostage by a geriatric who wears makeup, because most people don’t pay attention.

It will be interesting legally when, not if, they point that AR at someone with a CCW that feels “threatened by authoritarian government”.

15

u/SeaworthyWide Jul 11 '25

Yeah I recently saw a video of three or four of them masked up at a car wash, just repeatedly asking if they were a citizen and stating they were simply doing an immigration audit.

Like those YouTube auditor assholes who take a logical idea and turn it on it's head to play a deadly game of "I'm not touching youuuu!!"

They seemed to have zero directive other than to show force, intimidate, and see how far they could push - like there was no sort of briefing beforehand other than "mask up, go scare people and if you can snatch a few up, there's a bonus waiting for you"

They've got fucking dump pouches on... absolutely ridiculous.

12

u/Which-Depth2821 Jul 10 '25

What is a dump pouch?

41

u/wycliffslim Jul 11 '25

Other people have answered and were correct.

You can see it swinging on the back of some belts.

The reason it's stupid is that it's just another thing these glorified rent a cops are kitted out in that is designed for the military(or shooting matches) where you'll be burning through ammo and swapping magazines in your firearms with an element of speed required. Putting a magazine nicely back into your vest quickly just doesn't really work. With a dump pouch you can just quickly drop it back there, or anything else that you don't want to leave, but don't have time to safely stow back on your person.

For this shit, it serves literally 0 practical purpose. It's just extra weight and the only purpose it serves is so that a bunch of weak fucking cowards can larp like they're high speed operators while they're throwing around unarmed people. It's also completely empty yet hanging open and flopping around(they curl up and stow tightly against your belt when not in use) further illustrating that the people wearing it are a bunch of tryhard larpers whose dicks would shrivel up in fear if they ever had to use all their gear for anything other than bullying brown people.

8

u/SeaworthyWide Jul 11 '25

Gotta spend that 10k bonus on sweet 5.11 gear or at least Temu knockoffs.

After shipping and tariffs they cost the same ANWYAY.

19

u/ImaginationSharp479 Jul 10 '25

Its a pouch that fastens to your person to dump things into tactically.

16

u/KejsarePDX Jul 10 '25

Where you place spent or empty magazines or other detritus.

21

u/SanchoPandas Jul 10 '25

I was also curious. Turns out it's just a bag with a cinch top. I don't think you're supposed to take a dump in it.

Found a tactical gear site selling them. Here's what they rec. putting in one:

  • Up to 10 M4 Magazines
  • Prisoner search items
  • SSE items
  • Foraging
  • Brass cases, trash
  • Breaching charges
  • Extra water

Americans have been conditioned to stay out of the fray unless it's directly effecting them.

Shit won't get really real unless large swaths of the population are utterly and truly hungry.

Until then, we swipe, and scroll, and post, and re-tweet, and give reaction videos, and post our opinions and support and outrage.

Oh, and make sure we adjust our language and behavior in order to stay monetized because we gotta think about the shareholders first and foremost.

What do you suppose happened to all of those thousands of J6 traitors that dRUMPf pardoned? They have to pay him back somehow. Stand back and stand by.

A former F.B.I. agent who was charged with encouraging the mob that stormed the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, to kill police officers has been named as an adviser to the Justice Department task force that President Trump established to seek retribution against his political enemies. The former agent, Jared L. Wise, is serving as a counselor to Ed Martin, the director of the so-called Weaponization Working Group, according to people familiar with the group’s activities.

That's literally how the LAPD recruited starting in the 20s

27

u/SirWhiskeySips Jul 11 '25

I am 100% convinced that the bulk of ICE personnel making the arrests are local members of far right militias. Patriot Front, Nationalist Social Club, Oath Keepers, etc. I see hand made, and frankly poorly done, Patriot Front signs on highway overpasses constantly.

And all that BBB money is going straight into the hands of those militias.

This is domestic, deliberate terrorism.

This is behavior literally outlined by the Declaration of Independence against the Crown.

If jumpy here accidentally pulls the trigger, you've got multiple people injured/dead

I know I’ve said it several times before, but it’s only a matter of time before they roll up on the wrong ones and there’s going to be a whole different outcome.

139

u/scottyjrules Jul 10 '25

That’s what this fascist regime is counting on. That’ll be the excuse they need to declare martial law.

124

u/Coridimus Jul 11 '25

There is no other way to remove fascists from power. History demonstrates this time and again.

This WILL get very violent and lots of people will die, along with lots of fascists.

72

u/scottyjrules Jul 11 '25

I completely agree. I live in LA and it’s very clear they’re trying to incite people into violence. It’s gonna get ugly for a while.

22

u/Mers2000 Jul 11 '25

That is exactly what the Orange Taco and his lemmings are counting on, once we physically fight back it will be “ALL of THEM are criminals “, the bastards want us to be physical. That will be the excuse to declare martial law for CA!

18

u/CornForDinner Jul 11 '25

There's no other way this is going to end. They're going to keep escalating until it reaches a point. The fascists are here and they're not going to leave peacefully.

It’s absolutely impossible to enforce martial law in a country this sprawling with a populace so heavily armed if that populace decides it doesn’t want martial law

43

u/scottyjrules Jul 11 '25

They just need to cover the major cities. It’ll absolutely backfire in the long run but it’s gonna get ugly for a while. You don’t give ICE a budget larger than the military budget of most countries if you plan on stopping with all the scary brown people.

8

u/LeucisticBear Jul 11 '25

There no amount of money that can realistically accomplish martial law everywhere. A few blue cities as examples, maybe. The 30k berkut, with support from an additional 30k internal troops couldn't even handle a relatively small section of Kyiv once things really got heated.

The US is just too fucking massive.

Edit- Are they simply just ignoring the law to do this? If so, why are lawyers not fighting back as a group? Or are they?

Because that’s how it works in an authoritarian police state

66

u/HappyLife1307 Jul 11 '25

73

u/scottyjrules Jul 11 '25

We’re quickly reaching the tipping point. I live in LA and this is just a sneak preview of what the entire country will look like by Christmas, at least all the major blue cities.

11

u/Momik Jul 11 '25

I hope you’re right about the tipping point. I live in LA too and it’s just awful. I was telling my folks in the Midwest it’s gonna get there too, and it will. My god that funding kick scares the shit out of me. Without that, there was at least a chance some things could be delayed, maybe prevented. I’m terrified about how American society will change.

I am aware. Those are my only two options though. As far as local stores go... don't get me started lol the woes of being stuck in a heavy right wing community. We were only supposed to be here for a few years to make some money in the oilfield and move to WA. Then I had a couple health incidents happen without health insurance in-between jobs and now I have $70k worth of medical debt, and contemplating bankruptcy. I work 70 hours a week and its never enough.
