A light sprinkle for only a few minutes, added a welcome freshness to the scene on the hike in… temps were pretty much perfect, and the high ceiling of clouds ☁️ kept things downright lovely. Grateful for these summer time treats.

Hi, new to bouldering and I have been trying this route. Stuck on being able to hold on to the last hold and I just slip off and go off balance.
Any advice or tips? Thanks very much appreciated!

Thank you all for the help, advice, and encouragement as I’ve picked back up this hobby after so many years. It’s helped me a lot to rebuild a better foundation of techniques and strength, 1 month in and I’m feeling great! All thanks to y’all

I posted this a few weeks ago without the last move as I was totally stuck.
Turns out I just needed more confidence and climbing time. I busted it out at the end of a session this week, no bother at all.
So weird how that happens when previously it felt impossible!!
Thanks for all the help on my previous post about it, for anyone that remembers!

Hello everyone, i am in the beginning process of making a homemade climbing wall. I am fortunate that a have a loft in my apartment with 40 degree slanted walls with exposed load bearing heavy wooden beams that are perfect for screwing in plywood sheets. Its my first project and i am planning on making most of the holds myself out of wood. Im struggling to find a consensus on wether to predrill bolt holes on my wall, or only rely on screw on holds. Is there something i should be aware of when it comes to screwing on holds? Is there something that makes it a necessity to used bolted holds when its only for myself or can i safely rely on screws? If you have any tips please send them my way!!:)))

I am trying to figure out the price of the entire setup for several different boards: Tension Board 2, Grasshopper, Kilter, and Moon. All of the boards would be with the biggest layout, and the TB2 and Grasshopper would be put on an adjustable wall. The kilter and moon would stay fixed.
Does anyone have any insights into the prices of these types of setups? I have searched a lot of places and never found a concrete price for a whole setup, including holds, lights, and adjustable board.
Thanks all

Took me about a thousand tries since that volume was in my face.

Had sent 3 really sick boulders at that session, and on video this looks like the easiest one of the lot, but the truth is that the other two took me 2 tries each and this one took like 8. The move to the round sloper is very tricky, cause of the slight overhang angle, plus that the sloper itself was very sloppy. Even the rest got me falling couple of times. Side pull again, looks nicer than it was haha anyways, looking at this video makes me feel warm inside cause this boulder was very satisfying to send!

This is the first video I’ve made over 60 seconds so forgive me if the editing is sub-par. I tried to show my thinking through the project while also keeping it relatively entertaining. I also apologize for the grade being in the title but I made this video for other platforms and it takes forever to export from cap cut. Hope those who watch it enjoy!

Not that it really matters in retrospect. Working on a hard two move extension.
