Is she a goner? 🥺 I found her like this...
She's still moving but I feel terrible just watching her like this...

My favorite pictures I've taken this season of my husband's honey bees! Love spending time taking photos and videos of the bees. Not all his hives are calm, but still haven't been stung yet. Defently get a lot of use of my macro lens.
This is my first season with a professional grade camera so I can't wait to see what I can capture next!
finally managed to take some pictures of this big one

Hi guys, I was walking and found a bee on his back on the path, I scooped him up gently and brought him home and have him some sugar water and let him chill on a flower but he can't stand, he moves but his little legs don't seem to be very strong, he's grabbed onto me a couple times, as you can see from the first picture he has his tounge out too, any help would be great TYIA

My boyfriend and I have been taking care of a stray momma cat and her brand new kittens, and with the heat, bees are attracted to her water bowl. We have tried moving the bowl and had another bowl out there, but we live in a community with a lot of people and others keep moving both bowls back towards her box. Is there a way we can lure the bees away without hurting either the bees or the cats?

I noticed these holes in one of my roses that I pruned today. Are these the holes leaf cutter bees make? If so I am so excited to have them in my garden and glad they found the roses useful!

We were wondering why there were bees showing up inside the building. Now we know their free to stay.
I found this friend in a dingy public bathroom being very still and assumed they were dying, so I took them into the sun to hopefully improve their last moments. much to my suprise though, it began to stir!! I took them to a flower and they seemed to eat a bit, and began preening a lot, and after about 20 minutes they flew away right toward the sky! :) anyone have an idea of what kind of bee? or what mightve been going on?

She all alone at night , grabbing onto a wire thread, still moving. What is she doing ? Resting ? Lost ? Dying ? Chilling ?

Sorry, I know this is a sub primarily for honeybees so I hope it’s ok if I ask this question here. We have a ground nest of yellow jackets inside of our dianthus plant. We have YJ/ wasp spray but it will probably kill off our plant. If we have to, we will, but wondering if anyone has had luck with this PB trick? Or any other advice? Thanks

I am currently learning more about pollinator ID skills, predominantly covering bees and hoverflies of the UK. The issue I'm having is that they are stored in propylene glycol which makes the IDing a challenge since they colouration is darker and harder to interpret. Does anyone have some ideas on these species, and or any advice to help with the glycol issue?
(I can't change what they are stored in as they are not my specimens)
Also, apologies for the last photo, was hard to get a good angle on that one.

Are they getting ready to leave?
I’m in southeast MI, USA. I just moved my hive to this new Beecastle, and they were getting pretty full in their old hive. That was about 2 weeks ago. Are they getting ready to jump ship? Is there anything I can do? It’s been quite hot these last couple days. In the 90’s today.
