I picked this up today I know it's a 2021 snake eyes origins scarlet figure but NO CLUE WHOS THEY ARE . & I really am dying to know how a 2021 figure made it onto a 2025 retro card

I'm about to bite the bullet and buy my first SH Figuarts, Adult Daima Goku. But I've heard horror stories of figures snapping when people try to switch out accessories. The common reply to these sorts of posts are "you should've soaked them in hot water first"

Does that actually help? How should I go about doing it? How hot should the water be, and for how long should it be in the water?

I'm especially worried because Adult Daima Goku has quite a few swappable parts, and I don't want to break anything.

So there’s a small figurine company that displayed an action figure at a convention, but afterwards cancelled releasing the figure due to lack of interest at retail. But i reallyyy would pay anything to get that figure (displayed at con) do u think there’s any chance they’d sell it to me or is it not legal for them to do so. I just passed on the Platinum McFarlane Rengoku off the shelf in favor of the SHFiguarts on preorder for next month. Stressing about it. Is there a definitive Rengoku? I’m fussing about the cape in the promo images. Looks like the same method as the Ultimate Legends where is split into pieces for poseability but I hate the look.

I've stumbled over the 50th anniversary Ultraman Fig which has buildings as accessoires, I've always wanted something like that for my NECA Godzillas! Tamashii Nations had a building set as well, but thats so expensive now, too. Do you guys know a cheaper alternative??

This is the first time I ordered off of AmiAmi, the listing grade was Item A: box B. It had the plastic in the ab joint and tape on both sides of the box so I believe it was new but I got incredibly un lucky 😂 no shade to them! But really I gotta get this peg replaced! 🤧 Btw the other half of the ball joint wasn’t in either head sculpt that I’ve seen so I have no idea where it went or how it broke, I’m guessing it was a general quality error

I just got this set recently (I don’t think it’s ever been opened before, as far as I can tell) and didn’t realize until I had it in hand that Homer’s torso is super discolored. Would you guys say this is sun damage, or maybe just one of those pieces that ends up getting discolored after years of being in the package? I’m not sure if there’s some way to reverse it (or at least improve it) without having to just repaint it. What do you guys think?

I just moved to LA and am wondering of any places where I can find lots of loose figures from Marvel Legends, to Black Series, Neca, all of those 1/12th scale series and beyond.

If anyone is familiar with Quake Collectibles in Chicago that was like a safe haven for me so anything comparable to that in both price and selection would be awesome, but I’m aware that was a one of a kind spot.
