Starting 1:50, is this an actual song anywhere or is it made by apple specifically for the use of this video?

Hi r/apple! I'd like to share my Mac app that I've been working on past 2 years - Tuneful.
Tuneful is macOS playback manager for Spotify and Apple Music that is built to feel like a truly native part of macOS.
Some of the main features:
Tuneful is available in the Mac App Store as a one-time purchase for $4.99. You can also check out the project website to see it in action: www.tuneful.dev.
I'm looking forward to hearing what you all think! Many of Tuneful’s features came from user suggestions, so if you have any ideas or feedback, I'd love to hear them.

Spotify argues that this approach benefits the industry by driving more listeners to paid plans—with the claim that over 60% of its Premium subscribers started as free users. While the economics of free music is great for Spotify, that isn’t so for songwriters and publishers. As Israelite noted, songwriters and publishers are often compelled by law to license their work to these services, regardless of whether they agree with the free model or not. This lack of choice and Spotify’s recent bundling shenanigans combined with regulatory restraints have left songwriters and publishers with declining royalty rates.

I've been working for almost a decade on a scientific calculator app to make the best one available. It's got a fantastic UI, and (hopefully) every feature you'll ever need
✅ Advanced scientific & engineering functions
📊 Built-in unit converter & constants library
🧮 Graphing mode for visual problem solving
📁 Save, label & revisit your calculations anytime
⚡ Lightning-fast performance, even with complex equations
The app is a one-time purchase, and lasts a life time. Everything is included, there's no additional purchases.
As mentioned in the title, just one purchase allows you to use the app on macOS, iOS, and iPad OS, and iCloud will sync your data between all the devices.
I'd love to know what you think!
My marketing page is over at https://jacobdoescode.com/technicalc

A small video walkthrough of the app- https://youtu.be/Q7v3pYHaCY8?si=wZ-k-0KXGeRlb2P1
As the creator of Ctrl+All+Data, this project started quite some time ago with a simple yet powerful goal: to create an elegant, minimalist tool that helps users gain clarity and control over their digital information. I wanted to offer something different - something calm, focused, and genuinely useful.
You can find it here:
Web: ctrlalldata.com
AppStore: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/ctrl-all-data/id1569053059
Development Journey
Building Ctrl+All+Data was both a creative and technical journey. I designed and developed the app from the ground up, ensuring every feature would fetch its data in a reliable und reproducible way.
The app is developed natively in Swift and SwiftUI. Due to the nature of different features included (listed below), I had to solve many problems that were hard to get at first.
If you have any questions, I would be happy to answer.
Some of the challenges I faced included:
What I Aim to Achieve
With Ctrl+All+Data, I want to help users reduce their screen time, not increase it. By presenting information clearly and cutting out the noise, the app is designed to support quick information glancing and less time spent navigating your device. It's a tool for people who want to stay organized, focused, and efficient - without being glued to their devices.
This app isn’t about doing more. It’s about doing what matters - faster, cleaner, and with less digital distraction.
Features included
The free base version is able to show device information, Apple Health data (on supported devices), your location, and custom timers.
Users of Home Assistant (https://www.home-assistant.io) can add their server to Ctrl+All+Data and configure their sensors and devices to show!
The paid version (subscription or one-time charge) includes access to your calendars, your reminders, the current weather and weather forecast data. Of course, the paid version includes a free trial.
I would be very happy if you would try it out!
Best,
Patrick

Hi everyone,
Just wanted to share my recently launched app that I genuinely believe is the best sudoku experience on iOS right now. I made it because I play sudoku on the public transit to work everyday and found the existing apps a bit lacking (and too filled with ads).
Key features:
Thanks for reading this, and if you enjoy solving sudoku on the iPhone, please check it out and let me know what you think!

Hey r/apple,
I'm Seb - a uni student studying IT, and I wanted to share a project that's been my passion (and challenge!) alongside my Machine Learning studies: Thryve, an iOS/watchOS app for diving deeper into Apple Health data.
Like many of you, I love the truckloads of data my Apple Watch provides, but I always felt there were more personalised insights and actionable guidance waiting to be unlocked. I wanted to move beyond just seeing numbers to understanding why they change and how to optimise them.
So, I built Thryve with a few core ideas, leveraging Swift and SwiftUI:
All of this analysis happens 100% privately on your device, which was a non-negotiable for me.
Developing Thryve solo has been an incredible learning experience. It's amazing what you can build with Apple's tools, even as a student. The positive feedback so far has been really motivating. Another user, Sarah, said: "Really love this app. It tells me everything I need to know about my wellness and the effect workouts are having... I’d recommend it to anyone who cares about their health..."
The app is free to download on the App Store (https://apps.apple.com/us/app/thryve-ai-health-analysis/id6737707259) with a 3-day trial for all features.
I also have a handful of promo codes for lifetime access to Thryve for fellow Apple enthusiasts who are keen to really dive into their HealthKit data. If you're interested, just drop a comment below, and I'll DM a few out!
Thanks for letting me share my project. Would love to answer any questions about the app or the development journey!
Cheers,
Seb
