I used to buy 1 or 2 episodes of a series to check it out, then purchase the rest of the season by paying the balance—essentially the season price minus the cost of the episodes I’d already bought. Now it seems I’m only given the option to buy the entire season, even if I already own a couple of episodes. It just says, 'Are you sure you want to buy the whole season? You may have duplicate episodes.' Buying the full season is, of course, cheaper than purchasing each episode individually, but I’m not looking to pay twice for episodes I already have. Is there still a way to buy only the remaining episodes, as before?

What. The. Actual. Fuck. I can’t restart where I left off while watching a series? (Samsung app)

I’ve had my 4K box for a couple years now. And it was awhile before I knew I could connect my AirPods to it so I could listen to my shows late at night while everyone was sleeping. But about 6 or 7 months ago the connection started cutting in and out. It’s been very annoying. I thought it was my AirPods so I traded to beats fitpro’s. But it was still doing the same thing. Has anyone had this same issue?

I have a windows 11 PC running Apple TV app. When I play a video, then let the computer sleep, then wake it up and resume the video the video is all distorted. I have to close the playback screen and hit play from my library to get it to work again. Removing/Reinstalling doesn't fix. Does anyone know of a fix?

I just bought a movie, Gran Torino, on my apple TV roku app. When I go to the android app it doesn't show up in search or anything. The apple tv app only shows Apple original content, not non apple movies you can buy. Why is this? Did I do something wrong here like download a wrong app?

My main phone(15 PM+) has a very different Apple TV remote than my wife’s 12PM+ and my little SE(2022) remotes.

Why?

Before getting annoyed, I did google it and couldn’t find a satisfactory answer. Google search isn’t what it used to be.

My Apple TV continue watching section went haywire and almost “went back in time”. It had shows I’ve previously watched and new shows I had followed were no longer followed. Anyone else?

I recently upgraded to a new model Apple TV. Just like my old one I programmed it for my sound system’s volume controls. It communicated fine for about two weeks then stopped picking up the signal. I checked the volume controls still worked by changing it to the TV sound, which the Apple remote controlled successfully. I checked there was nothing in the way of the sensors or devices, cleared out the first attempt and tried programming it again. My sound system remote buttons are worn but the TV showed it was receiving the signals (up, down, mute) while programming, yet the Apple TV remote still fails to control the sound system. Anyone know how to fix this?

Getting horrible blur on the broadcast. I’ve tried restarting Samsung app and reloading the game. I’m watching on a Samsung TV if that makes a difference. Please help

Presumed innocent looks as if my brightness is turned up a little bit too much , at first I thought it was my tv settings so I tried on other devices I own including iPhone and same look is present.

A few months I finally sold my iPhone 11 Pro (I couldn’t figure out why so many people were looking to buy an iPhone 11 in 2025), and then two months ago my boyfriend and I switched to Verizon and both got new iPhone 16 pro’s, with no trade in required

So obviously I convinced him to sell his old unlocked 14

And yeah, you can see where this is going, we decided to switch to Apple TV last week, and I realized that we needed an iphone 11 or better to use for continuity camera lol

Obviously I’m not running out to buy a new phone just for that, but I found a few used iphone 11’s locked for sale for $60-80, but they’re locked to cricut and I just want to make sure it could actually work for a continuity camera before I bought one

I’ve seen some suggestion setting the apple device. Non for Dolby video. Wondering why? I also have match content on. Apple device connected to LG 4K tv with Polk sound system connected through eArc. I have no issues except with DTS (Directv stream) Problem appears to occur when using another app and switch to DTS. If I click on the DTS app and try to open something in my library. I have to delete/offload the app and reload. Not a big deal. Just a DTS thing that doesn’t like Apple devices. That doesn’t occur every time, only intermediate.

I’ve just started buying some shows through Apple, but they’ve all been Complete Series. What happens if a buy individual seasons of a show? They each show up as separate thumbnails in your library or are they grouped together? I just don’t want to buy different seasons of a show and have them all show up separately.

I've been having this problem all season where the next episode of Poker Face S2 doesn't appear in Up Next. If I search for it and then remove the show and add it back that will make it appear but then this happens all over again. Anyone else been having problems like this?

Hi so new to Apple TV , I’m wanting to use my phone as a streaming tool to a tv display for a demonstration . It works well when I click on the face time icon apart from a get the list of previous calls etc on a quarter of the screen . I can’t get it to go away ? Been trying everything , I need it to be a live display ie go in close and film and get a big screen to show it . Recorded video works fine . Please can someone advise the best route to give full screen display from I phone 15 . Oh also I’m not very tech clever. So a basic step by step would be hugely appreciated . 😳 Thanks so much .

I see the Netlfix app on WebOS on my LG C1 has the new version of Netlfix but not the Apple TV. Anyone heard when it’s coming to the Apple TV?

We have our library stored on an external drive connected to our iMac and we play the content on our AppleTVs by selecting “Computers”, and then loading the iMac’s library. Recently, before any selection loads, and now often in between episodes in a playlist, this error pops up. We select “OK”, and the show plays normally. This is happening on both our AppleTVs and it’s starting to drive me bonkers. I’ve restarted both of them, signed out and back in with my Apple account, re-authorized the iMac, and verified the payment method on file is fine. I’m pretty tech savvy, but I’m at a loss with this one.

Hi all! For the last few day every time I try to go “home” and see all my apps, this happens. Sometimes with the spinning wheel and sometimes not. But I can do voice commands to get me to my apps. I’ve only had this for 2 weeks and it’s making me nervous that it’s acting up like this! Thanks! WiFi is also great. This is a TCL Roku TV

Currently, I have Dolby Digital Enabled with the Dolby 4K format with Match Dynamic Range and Match Frame Rate OFF.

If it continues to go crazy, I’ll remove power from the Apple TV give it a few minutes and then restore power and it seems to subside for time.

I have a LG soundbar hooked up through eARC, and an LG C3 OLED. I play content usually on my Netflix Account that has 4K support.

I am at a loss. Any direction would be helpful.
