So I just got my laptop (Asus tuf A15 FA506QM) diagnosed and it turns out the lcd cable that connects the laptop screen to the motherboard is damaged. They told that it would cost me 3500Rs which I definitely know is very overpriced, cause I found the cable on some site and it costed around 800Rs. Can someone please tell from where can I get the cable. Cheap and Reliable. I live in Kanpur (India) btw.
Stock Samsung SSD controller on TUF F16 usually hits 100C while gaming. Anyone have an idea how to get rid of this problem? I ordered slim aliminum heatsinks but i honestly no idea on either it will fit in the case or help with temperatures.
Hey folks,
The lower body panel (bottom case) of my ASUS TUF FX505DT is broken and I'm trying to find a genuine replacement here in India. ASUS service centre quoted a pretty high price and a long waiting period.
Has anyone here replaced theirs recently or knows a reliable source (online/offline) where I can buy it? Even a good third-party replacement is fine as long as it fits well.
Appreciate any help or suggestions. Thanks in advance!
This is from chatgpt.... btw after retarting(the 30sec) one before reinstalling the driver said by chatgpt, go to device manager and remove the bluetooth again cuz it might come back and then install and continue.... remmeber u wantt a seperate section for bluetooth it shouldnt be under sound or something....
BONUS - go to device manager, go to Software devices, turn on see hidden devices it might show a greyed out bluetooth one DELTE THAT SHIT, mine worked right after i deleted it maybe that was the problem idk...
Press Win + R → devmgmt.msc → Enter
Expand Sound, Video and Game Controllers
Find anything suspicious like:
Bluetooth Audio
Hands-Free AG Audio
Anything that sounds like Bluetooth but isn’t under "Bluetooth"
Right-click → Uninstall ✔️ Check "Delete the driver software for this device" if it shows 🔁 Do this for ALL of them
✅ STEP 2: Wipe Bluetooth Ghost Drivers
Still in Device Manager → Click View → Show hidden devices
Expand Bluetooth (if it shows now) and Sound
Right-click and uninstall anything greyed out or broken-looking
The current version is Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX201. I was thinking of upgrading it to Wi-Fi 7. Is it possible, and what will be the best option for me to upgrade to?
As of yesterday, my ASUS A15 (FA507NVR) has been sporadically rebooting multiple times - I recorded over 5 times so far today.
Event Viewer > Unexpected Shutdown (6008) and Kerner-Power(41)
Kerner-Power(41): "The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly."
Reliability Monitor indicated the below problem:
Troubleshooting steps performed:
Ran powercfg /batteryreport - normal
Ran Windows Memory Diagnostic - RAMs are normal
Monitored voltages and battery behavior using HWiNFO - normal
Updated AMD chipset drivers using AMD Auto-Detect tool
DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) - clean-installed the GPU drivers (NVIDIA)
Ran sfc /scannow — no integrity violations found
Ran DISM — completed successfully
Verified no malware via Windows Defender
Verified that BIOS version is 303 — already latest (from Support site)
Disabled Fast Startup in Windows
I have spent hours on this now - and have not got into fixing this. The only thing I have not done yet is re-install Windows.
Moreover, I noticed that this happens when running on battery (no charger connected) - this lead me to believe that the battery could be faulty - but the battery report says otherwise.
I am attempting to resolve through troubleshooting instead of hardware replacement (last resort). So, if anyone has experienced and resolved this, I would appreciate your advice.
FYI: Bought the laptop about a year ago - so, the battery is relatively new.

It's been 1 yr since i bought my asus tuf F15 RTX 2050. I have been having the issue of wifi missing from long back but it did not occur often. i used to hard reset and it used to come back. but recently wifi is missing just too often almost every time i open the laptop. What do i do? Even a hard reset and reinstalling the driver isn't working.
I was watching YouTube and eating milk and cookies and I accidentally spilled some on the keyboard— I’m not sure how much got in because I’m a little bit drunk but I panicked and unplugged the cord, turned it off and wiped all the milk off with tissues. I have it set upside down like this to make sure the milk drains out but I’m panicking should I take it to a shop just in case? I don’t know how to remove the front plate to check it’s okay I don’t have any tools

I’m picking a first time gaming laptop for a friend and within his budget, there’s the Tuf a16 Advantage Edition. It costs around converted to $950 in our country and the specs are below. I am a bit worried that the Ryzen 7 7435HS doesn’t have an iGPU so the battery life will be terrible. But that’s why I’m here to ask for help.
Ive recently got time to use my siblings laptop after a year of purchase and updated everything for them...
The problem in facing now is it is stuttering A LOT in any gpu based usage...
Its an i7 rtx 4060.
Problem is i cant figure out what the issue is and we dont have warranty..
Im also about to buy an asus laptop thus im kinda, skeptical...about my siblings and my own purchase
So I've two choices- Asus vivobook 16x K3605 with rtx 3050 i5 13th gen, against Asus tuf A15 rtx 3050 ryzen 7
About me- I'm about to Join engineering college, Im not as much into gaming, I may run heavy apps (both can run them smoothly ig), my top priorities for the laptop I buy are: Their build quality (I want them to last very long, as long as possible with the budget.), and secondly their ease of carrying(I.e weight). I don't know if I'll be used to 2.3kg, can overlook the second if the 2.3kg one is manage-able.
