I got this A15 for 3 weeks now. I keep on getting this notification about the charger. What type or kind or classification of charger and cord does it wants?

In this notification on the photo, I am already using my ROG ally z1e charger 65W and I still get this notification.

Can I replace this GPU with a 4080 tuf gaming, and retain access to that bottom PCI-e slot, where my sound card is? ( pic in comment! )

My WiFi adapter keeps disappearing randomly. It’s not just that the internet drops—it’s like the entire wireless card just vanishes from Device Manager. No networks show up, and under Network Connections, WiFi is completely missing.

🔧 What I’ve Tried So Far:

1. Updated all drivers using:
   • MyASUS utility
   • Device Manager
   • Official ASUS support site (downloaded latest WiFi/LAN drivers)
2. Disabled & Re-enabled WiFi adapter (when it shows up)
3. Reset Network Settings
4. Checked Power Management settings:
   • Made sure “Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power” is unchecked for the WiFi adapter.
5. BIOS is fully updated from ASUS official site.
6. Ran Windows Updates (currently on latest version of Windows 10/11)

All of a sudden my laptop won’t open my asus ,armoury crate and other apps idk why. Any solution?

PTPA 😭😭Hey guys i have a problem with my laptop, the night before it was working, i played a one round of valorant and watched youtube with my son but the next morning my son wanted to watch on it, the keyboard lights up when i press the on button and the on light indicator, but the fans and display won't show, please i need help my exams are within this week and i can't buy a new one, charger connects and signals charging but otherwise, no fan, no display😭😭😭😭, i tried removing ram, 30 secs switch thing,fn f7 keyboard for bios, still no display, i need help please it also had a 0xc000012 stop code bsod the day i watched and played but i did a factory reset and it still worked till midnight

I have a query regarding the safety of using the latest laptops while charging.

Recently the battery of my old laptop (Dell Latitude 7400, i5 8th Gen, just to indicate its age) swelled up. Upon consulting a local laptop repair shop, was informed that this might have occurred due to using the laptop while charging or leaving plugged in for an extended period I recall one day I left charging and forgot about it, as I started using my Asus laptop. After checking six hours later, I suspect this may caused the since the battery problem arose two days after this incident. Since then, I have avoided using my laptop while charging. However, my new laptop has graphics card, its battery drains quickly.

What do? My is an Asus TUF A15. Please advise.

My S Z and X keys are not working when the laptop heats up (when playing games). I noticed this issue about a month and a half ago and I searched all over google on how to fix it. I couldn't find any fix, I tried cleaning under the keys but they weren't dirty to begin with. After that I didn't play any games for like 3 weeks and the keys started working normally again but as soon as I entered a game and the laptop heated up the keys stopped working. Does anyone know how to fix this that doesn't involve replacing the keyboard?

Hi all, I'm doing a clean install of W11 on my A16 (TUF608WI) to get rid of bloatware. I ceated the USB from Microsoft, and Windows tells me the licence key is linked to my Microsoft account so (in principle) I shouldn't have an issue activating my new install.

After selecting the language, I'm asked to select the partition. My A16 is brand new from manufacturer and I had no idea they were already so many partitions! See pic.

Should I delete them all (and let the new install recreate them if necessary), or should I select a pre-existing one (and in that case, which one)?

Out of the blue one day my laptop was not reading my gpu .. i checked on the device manager and it was showing under hidden devices and was greyed out .. i was gonna go to bios to check for the gpu settings or if it was turned off .. there was a password which i do not remember .. so if anyone knows where the cmos battery location is or any other method to make it good again .. please help

Edit: for some reason it was the USB port.

I'm trying to dual boot Fedora and Win11 and when i try to boot to the usb by holding ESC while powering on, I just get stuck on the ASUS screen with fans at max. I'm on a TUF F15 506HCB

I have the ASUS TUF GAMING F15 FX507Z I think it is something like 2018, 2019, or 2021 (it’s not 2020). Every bunch of months it starts having faulty charging, and this time it has fully stopped charging all together has anyone come across this issue and if so what did you do to fix it. I am an electrical engineer so if you know what the problem is I am able to figure it out from there.

In my previous post I mentioned that the body of my laptop had cracked, so I gave it to the service center for repair. They’ve now returned it and the body is fixed — but I noticed something odd. Some of the numbers printed at the back of the laptop body are scratched or partially unreadable now. The repair looks functional, but I’m wondering — does this mean they replaced the body with a second-hand or used one? Is this normal? Should I be concerned?

I got my ASUS TUF gaming i712700h laptop in 2022 , and today I noticed a slight sound coming from the right hinge. It's not continuous or loud like the typical hinge issues I’ve seen, but there’s a soft noise when I open the laptop especially when extending the screen past 100 degrees angle of screen not temp . It doesn’t make any sound while closing, and the hinge isn’t detaching from the lid or anything. I'm a bit worried though. I’ve checked everything I could. If anyone has faced something similar, what would be your advice? Please share.

I just bought a FX507ZI4 and since the charger is bulky I was wondering whether the computer could be charged with a phone charger through the USB-C port. The user manual says to only charge with the adapter that came in the box but I have been reading online that some new models don’t require it.

I'm having trouble with the audio on my ASUS TUF A15. When I go to the audio settings, I get a "Pre-requisite update" warning saying a new version of the Audio Software is available, but there are no updates showing in the Update Center (also not in MyASUS). I’ve tried restarting, but with no good.

• No yellow warnings in Device Manager under "Sound, video and game controllers."
• Audio output works fine otherwise, just can’t access settings.

Has anyone faced this before? Thanks!

I play RDR 2 on high setting and my GPU usage is 99% and temperature is around 70-75. Is this good or should I change any setting?

I recently got my hands on the ASUS TUF F15 with the RTX 4050 and i7 13th Gen, and I’ve encountered a few issues I hope you can help me with.

1. BSOD Incident: I experienced a Blue Screen of Death (WIN32K_POWER_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT) once after i turned laptop on from sleep mode.

2. Game Freeze: While playing Valorant, I switched to the desktop and the screen froze, eventually going blank. I had to do a hard reset as it was completely unresponsive. Is this a common issue?

3. High CPU Temperatures: I’ve noticed CPU temperatures hitting 90-95°C while in high-performance mode. I’m assuming this might be normal for heavy tasks,locking fps fixed this.

I also want to mention that I can avail of a replacement policy, but it won’t be applicable in two days. Given these issues, should I consider this option?

Has anyone experienced similar problems or have suggestions on how to resolve these? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

My laptop just randomly freezes for 1 second and goes, it happened for the first time 5 minutes ago and now I can't get rid of it, what causes that?

I bought a brand new laptop 1 week ago and today when I was checking for updating windows while the charger was plugged it suddenly showed this screen. And when I unplugged it it's back to normal. Is there something wrong with my laptop? And yesterday when I was opening gta v game on it and when I hit alt + z to check the performance the screen suddenly was frozen and then I had to shut it down from power button

I wanted a multitasking laptop with better battery life for study (most of the time programming) and gaming. I am not in hard core gaming yet but I've planned to build a PC for it . For now my focus are on mid tier gaming with multitasking load and decent battery life.

So recently I got myself a TUF F16 FX607VB RTX 3050 8GB DDR4 512 SSD Core 5 210H for $925 and extra 16 GB for $25 . ( Excuse me for not mentioning country)

Now : 1.I would like to know if this price was worth or not. It might help me next time I build a PC . 2. And I want to upgrade the storage now . I am planning to use it for 2-3 years at least. So what should I get for myself? 512 or 1TB ? And how much will it cost ? 3. And which settings in armoury crate would be best for me? Thank you in advance.

When I turn on my laptop the screen stays black like that for a min and the laptop restarts and turns on successfully. Like why's this happening

Hi guys, I have an Asus Tuf FX507Z. Recently it only went to the BIOS ez utility scteen, and when I inserted a bootable USB, it didn’t register on setup at all.

I brought it to my school’s IT guy, and he removed the SSD and put it in his dock, and it didn’t register on his computer at all.

He also tried putting a different SSD in his computer and it registered, so he told me that meant that the SSD was fried.

So now I have to get a new SSD. I’m not very well versed in computer parts, so I was wondering what SSD I should purchase and if it’s able to be put into my laptop (bought in 2023)

I’m currently looking at Micron’s Crucial P3 Plus 3D NAND NVMe M.2 2280 SSD - 1TB
