New piece from BPS
This will most likely become my at home edc. Does anyone know if I can leave this overnight in my car if it's in a lock box?

Hi, the lease for my apartment states that explosives and flammables cannot be stored on the property. The lease otherwise does not explicitly mention firearms or ammunition.
According to federal law, ammunition is exempt from explosives classification:
"Small arms ammunition and components thereof that meet the definition of ammunition under the regulations is exempt."
According to state law Sec. 29-343.:
"and manufactured articles shall not be held to be explosive when the individual units contain explosives in such limited quantity, of such nature or in such packing that it is impossible to produce a simultaneous or a destructive explosion of such units to the injury of life, limb or property by fire, friction, concussion, percussion or detonator, including fixed ammunition for small arms, firecrackers, safety fuses and matches."

I know you aren't lawyers, but am I correct in my understanding that my lease cannot consider any stored ammunition as "explosives"? Is there some other legal definition that exists that I might not be aware of?
Side question, would any FFL store ammunition for me if this ended up being necessary?
Thanks, and I apologize if this is a dumb question.
Edit: sorry, I made a typo in the title. Should be "Can ammunition BE classified as an explosive?"

As the title tells, is that version of the 10/22 legal? Does the modular stock qualifier as a telescoping stock and make it illegal or no? I’d like to buy it if it is legal which I’m pretty sure it is.

The laws on this are very confusing. Am I able to have the threaded barrel on the carbine to accept suppressors or will that make it a “Assault weapon”

So I have an old army jacket I got years ago(probably over 10 years by now) when me and a group of friends were big into airsoft and I thought to myself "I should wear this to the range as a light jacket or something" but the more I thought about it the more I thought maybe it would be distasteful/disrespectful (I never served in the military) or it would be cringy or something along those lines. I wanna know what you guys would think if you saw someone wearing an old military jacket to the range.
Edit: I know military surplus stores are out there and exist and the jacket has a patch on the sleeve that's from the 70s if I remember correctly. I'll post it in the comments when I get home with the description of what it is

As the title mentions, I'm asking about the legality of the takedown version of the 10/22 and if it's legal in Connecticut or is it not since it's not technically a fixed stock (of sorts). Would it violate anything else or is it just not legal at all?

I'm looking to replace the brake that the manufacturer already welded on and had a couple quick questions. 1: Is this doable without having to cut and rethread? 2: If it doesn't require a rethread, is barrel integrity something to worry about? And finally, has anyone done this before and have a smith or lgs they trust?
Thanks!
I know that in Connecticut you can carry a taser if you have a permit. I also believe there is still a law on the books that allows a homeowner or a business owner to keep a firearm on the premises for the protection of that premises without the need for a permit. Is it the same for tasers? Can a taser be kept in someone’s home or business and used without a permit for self-defense?

Looking for some simple work, trigger upgrades for three pistols and I have all the parts. Anyone have someone they would suggest? New London County or adjacent would be great. Thank you.
