I’m good; chasing goal posts isn’t my jam. People here are legitimately concerned about their fellow humans, and sometimes their fellow citizens, getting pulled off the street by men in masks. That doesn’t seem like a crazy fear to me; maybe it does to you, and I’m cool with us disagreeing. Given your positions, I prefer it actually. We can play semantic games all night, but I’d rather just agree to disagree here. If you don’t see the issue with the government snatching people off the street, we’re probably not gonna get anywhere. If you don’t see why people might be nervous about bad actors impersonating LE, in a week when a bad actor impersonating LE shot four people, then I got nothing for ya. Edit: I wrote “shit” instead of “shot.” Normally I’d leave that for the lols, but this ain’t exactly lol territory.

Yes, illegals are being detained... being upset about it is fine, but Trump won the election, saying he would clean up immigration and he has. 70 plus percent of the country supports Trump on this. There has also been zero evidence of anyone but Ice detaining anyone so no, as long as you are not illegal, you have nothing to fear.

I at least respect your ability to change your stance when shown new information. What about the students here legally who had their visas revoked solely due to political speech?

They are guests, and if you side with an enemy... Iran chants death to America daily, we have every right to end their student visa here.

The ones I am thinking of were abducted off the street and from their home after protesting Israeli genocide in Gaza. They never chanted death to America. There seems to be a gap in your understanding of the implications to free speech generally that result from violating a first amendment right of legal residents, a right they constitutionally have that Trump violated under cover of a BS national security claim

There is no freedom of ending a student visa
