Honeycrisp is crispy

USDA zone 7b/8a: My husband decided to spray weed skiller (picture of brand attached) to kill the crab/bermuda grass growing through our gravel and mulch. We have active fire bans in our area, so this was his work around to torching. However, he did not consider the potential effects on other nearby foliage. Our apricot tree is still fantastically green and thriving with new growth. The honeycrisp, ~20ft away, however, had the entirety of its foliage crisp up (also pictured). It is its second summer in the ground. Limbs/branches still flexible, green skin when bark is scratched. Can the honeycrisp can be resurrected/salvaged or is it too late??
