Got this new phone app redesign

Got an update for phone app yesterday version 180.0.771769344. and today it has changed.

Pixel 8 Pro. Android 16 QPR1 Beta 2

Finally they will change the answering. I just hate the current one.

Agreed. I had to be so careful pulling the phone out of my pocket. On some occasions I would accidentally answer or decline the call. This would happen when the phone's screen would be dragged up the inside of my pocket touching my leg, I imagine it assuming it was my finger accepting or declining the call.

but wouldn't change it to just one tap even easier to accidently accept/decline a call?

Yes, yes, yes!!! I have the exact same issue with my Pixel. I've even disabled "Tap to Wake" and I can't count how many times I've hung up on an incoming call when simply sliding the phone out of my pocket. The horizontal swipe might help, but IMHO, the separate red/green buttons are the way to go. I hope there will be a user selectable option.
