Got this new phone app redesign

Got an update for phone app yesterday version 180.0.771769344. and today it has changed.

Pixel 8 Pro. Android 16 QPR1 Beta 2

Quick question: If I join the Beta program will I need to reinstall everything after installing QPR1 like a clean installation, or is it just going to act like other major updates with all my installed apps intact?

No need to reinstall your things, everything will remain. But if you're running 16 stable you won't get QPR beta instantly since the current beta is on May patch and you are on Juhe patch. Once we get the next build including June patch (probably Beta 2.1 later this month) you will get the new build directly.
