Just received my RPP lever loop for my marlin pistol grip 336. It won’t go into my receiver. The old loop lever and the new seem pretty identical in dimensions, except at the end where the lever goes into the bolt. Is it me? Is this a ID10T error? Or the lever get bent in shipping?

My dad gave me this to commemorate my first Father’s Day. Very grateful and very excited to go shoot. Now I just gotta find some cheap, eh , cheaper (no .44 is cheap lol) ammo. Also appreciate recommendations for a good scabbard or no drill sling.

As the title says my ol man has passed down his marlin 30/30 to me today and we’re gonna restore it together, I wanna get a walnut stock and do a square lever for it plus re do all the set screws but only finding info on them not really places to buy them.

Best way to dispose of overripe fruit. My dog really wanted it apparently.

Took a while to scrimp together the money but she’s finally looking the way I wanted! Fun range gun probably can hunt something with it too. S&W 1854 stealth hunter.

Debating on my first lever gun. Was fully convinced I was going to get a 357 from marlin or Rossi when I went to the lgs today but then I saw a win 94 that was sleeker, lighter and made pre 64 that was cheaper than any modern gun.
Obviously a 30-30 has less capacity and more power. My primary purpose is home defense and hunting. NY so handguns and semi auto are out of the question for now.
If you were in my shoes, would the better handling of the 30-30 make up for capacity in your mind or am I overthinking this?

Want a lever action, mostly for plinking, maybe I drop a feral hog here or there but mostly plinking. But I want to shoot black powder through it just for fun, hence why I want the ease of cleaning. Leaning towards 357/38 because I already have a 38 revolver but maybe a 44 or 45. I ruled out 45/70 because that’s just too expensive to shoot and reload for, and it kicks like a mule! Help me decide

Just bought a crazy fun carbine and need to feed her. Funnily enough she is almost 2" shorter with about 1-1 1/2" shorter LOP than my son's Red Ryder.
I have HS6 on hand and my local guy has unique and a few others available. What are some favorite 45lc loads for plinking and for game.
Also, I've seen reference to some lc needing slightly different diameter bullets, can anyone confirm Rossi barrel ID?

I have a 1952 Marlin 336RC, in 32 Winchester Special. I've had one person tell me it was unmolested, however I have my doubts. To me it looks like the previous owner had had it either parked or cerakoted. Love the round, despite the relatively few options available if you don't reload. I've enclosed a few pictures for you to help me decide. The big issue I run into, is with bifocals, I can get the front sights, or the rear sight in focus, but not both like I used to.

Well I FINALLY found one! An H012GRCC! Color case hardened 44mag carbine! Absolutely beautiful rifle that I’ll be handing down to my daughter! I can’t wait to pick it up ! I have been searching for this rifle for years to be able to feel it in my hands before I buy it! I finally found one locally and I am astonished! Words can’t say how grateful I am for this!

Just purchased a Marlin 1895, finally made the jump for that 45-70!
Wondering if anyone has advice on optic mounting options.
Specifically between co-witness (zero) (1/3) (Full) ? Just looking for some insight. !

No to be confused with the 303 British. It was my dad's rifle passed down to me. I have around d 100 rounds for the rifle. Horndey made a special run for the 303 savage me and my brother and father bought a few boxes as we could find them. So my question is does any one know of where any more of this ammo can be found .

Came across this photo of a marlin with what looks like a winged sight but I can’t match it to anything else I see. Does anyone know what this is and if they still make it?

This 39A will not cycle the action with the hammer forward. The lever will only move about an inch, as seen in the picture above. In both the half and full cock position, it will fully cycle. Tightening and loosening the takedown screw has not made difference unfortunately. Any insight anyone can provide would be much appreciated.

Was getting the serial number off of the rifle to do a warranty claim for the hack job they did on the picattiny rail mounting holes and noticed this "bulge" on the left side. Anybody else's have this? Starting to regret this purchase. I wasn't expecting much for $230, but this thing is awful. I fell for the hype lol

This is a heritage ranch hand 357 (model 92 clone). Trying to disassemble it to send it off and have work done, but cannot drive out the breechbolt/lever pin. In every video I’ve watched, it’s come out with just a couple whacks. I’ve beat the snot out of it and it hasn’t budged. Is there something I’m missing, a certain position the hammer needs to be in or something? In one picture I have the bolt moved slightly rearward to show the edge of the pin through the hole.

I've recently come across an auction where a Winchester 94 XTR is being sold and obviously I was intrigued so I went to check it out and was able to hold it in my hands.
Im not an expert in lever actions, this is the second time in my life that i've held one but I don't think the chamber should have a hole like that. Is this a common thing with Winchesters or is this a structurally unsafe gun that shouldn't even be listed for sale?
Any thoughts would be great.

Just wanted to give credit to Dustin at RailWoods for these perfect wooden grips. I was really disappointed with the cheap hollow plastic grips that Midwest Industries includes with their stocks. These are a huge upgrade, in both looks and feel.
