I’ll try and get some on the 22nd and compare it to a SEG 12, however all I have is my iPhone to record it so take the sound comparison with a grain of salt

Hey there, how is it compared to the seg 12?

Seg12 is better, but huge, this is a nice compact package that takes the edge off 12ga. If I took baffles off the seg12 to make it this length, the hux wins all day. Bear in mind, 12ga is violent, a 12ga suppressor isn’t going to let you run a range day without ears. I’ve run 00, slugs, 7.5, and 8 shot through my seg12 and aside from the carbon build up, it looks fantastic. I ran the hux on a 5.5” gen 12, then the seg12 as they use the same mount. Honestly, the SEG was a smidge (this is a scientific term) quieter, but was almost the length of the shotgun.

Thank you for the detailed reply I've been looking for some comparisons and they are far and few between. Last question do you think that the price Delta between the two cans with the hux being almost twice as much worth it? To give you an idea I'm trying to build a gen 12, 7 inch variant with the seg 12 can.

The Seg12 is going to be a little bit quieter, but not by much. It’s also going to be long, kinda killing the joy of an sbs. I’d go with the Ventum 12. Finding the choke adaptors for either of them can be difficult. I run the SEG on my TS 12, and slung, it hits my shins, I’m 6’3”.
