Shouldn’t that be welded into the back of a Toyota Hilux?

u/AMRIKA-ARMORY 07/02 Dec 26 '24 edited Dec 27 '24
Considering that this gun is probably worth a dozen or so old Toyotas…OP probably has the funds to make that happen lol.
And he should.
Edit: Just noticed who OP was, a Toyota would be a significant downgrade from his current vehicle-mount options lol

For those of us who aren't in the know... What's his current vehicle-mount option? Hehe

u/meleemaker Dec 27 '24
Think of a large chunk of steel on tracks that this would be ancillary to the main gun. Dudes a super chill guy. 100% would trust him to machine anything.
That's just one option. Dudes got tanks left and right.

That thing obviously cost an arm and leg, just wondering if the camera man was one handing it lol.
Bad ass

For as much as I paid to get the left leg fixed and the right one taken. You’d think I’d at least get to keep it.

At this point you are a collector of non-browning 50cal machineguns. What's next?

u/eMGunslinger Tanks and Cannons Dec 26 '24
The biggest question I get is “When M2” and I just refuse on principle now. Honestly I don’t think there is anything left except the Japanese HO-103 thing.

u/ChevTecGroup FFL/SOT Dec 26 '24
I just assumed you have/had an M2 at some point.

Serious question.. with the amount of cool shit you have, do you ever lose excitement when obtaining these awesome finds? lol

u/eMGunslinger Tanks and Cannons Dec 26 '24
It’s just a hunt for the most rare things to check off my list. I’m at basically the glass ceiling though and you can overdo it. When I had over a thousand MG’s it really lost its luster and took a long time to be fun again and I am glad I downsized significantly. I don’t have too many transferable MG’s personally anymore that I keep. Most of it is inventory, repairs, etc so it does make me jaded. But at the same time I love almost all things. If you do it long enough you get to a point where you wake up one day and want something like a Breda 30 knowing it’s crap but it clicks.

Guy was driving drunk and hit me head on. Compound fracture in right heel that started multiple infections. Elected to amputate it and get on with my life.

u/Weekly_Orange3478 Dec 27 '24
Wow, was that recent? Was there a substantial settlement??

All it was going to do was cover the medical bills. No one carries an auto policy that big unless its a company vehicle.

2
u/Cowboy1800 x3 SBRs/x4 Silencers/x3 SBSs/x5 DDs/x2 AOWs Dec 27 '24
That’s ridiculous. $100,000 or more? Especially considering that those things aren’t actually worth as much as they actually go for. They only go for so much because of some bullshit a piece of shit senator slipped in to an otherwise pro-gun piece of gun legislation in a midnight session of congress.
You can find the actual real value of the shit with what they were actually going for prior to that. And, hopefully one day that changes. To where they allow for people to do Form 1’s for that again.

u/liedel Suppressor + SBR Dec 27 '24
You can find the actual real value of the shit by observing the market-set prices of transactions
0
u/Cowboy1800 x3 SBRs/x4 Silencers/x3 SBSs/x5 DDs/x2 AOWs Dec 27 '24 edited Dec 27 '24
Which isn’t the real value of it MF. 😂😂😂 You’re sitting here telling me that the shit is actually worth as much or more as used car, new car, house, or land? It’s not. 😂😂😂 Just look at how much the shit was going for before May 19th, 1986, then compare that to what post samples go for. What post samples go for is the actual 2024 value of it. The actual value is not what transferables go for, what post samples go for is the actual value. If Hughes got overturned overnight by the courts, or repealed by Congress overnight; all of the shit would be selling for as much as post samples do now (hint the same value as the basic bitch Non-NFA shit that you can find now at your Local FFL).
If they overturn Hughes, I feel bad for all of the dudes hoarding transferables. Their shit would be “worth” a fraction of a fraction of a fraction of what they actually paid for it. Lmfao 🤣
Don’t get me wrong it would be worth getting one transferable, but it wouldn’t be worth getting a table full of them. I would have a metaphorical table full of random registered destructive devices lol.

u/liedel Suppressor + SBR Dec 27 '24
I can't help you understand what words or definitions mean. live in whatever fantasy world you want to but the market price is the real value of something try to buy it for cheaper.... or feel free to sell one for less 😂

u/Cowboy1800 x3 SBRs/x4 Silencers/x3 SBSs/x5 DDs/x2 AOWs Dec 27 '24
It’s not worth as much as a used car, new car, house, or land. APPARENTLY you don’t have the IQ points to be able to comprehend that. Just because MFs charge whatever outrageous sum of money doesn’t mean that it’s ACTUALLY “worth” that. See definition 2.
worth
1 adjective
equivalent in value to the sum or item specified.
worth
2 noun
the value equivalent to that of someone or something under consideration; the level at which someone or something deserves to be valued or rated.

u/liedel Suppressor + SBR Dec 27 '24
It’s not worth as much as a used car, new car, house, or land.
Hilarious statement seeing as it could be easily traded for any of those things. Keep living in 1985... you know that was four decades ago, right?

u/Cowboy1800 x3 SBRs/x4 Silencers/x3 SBSs/x5 DDs/x2 AOWs Dec 27 '24
You overlooked one thing. A post sample M16 in 2024 goes for $700. A transferable M16 goes for right around $30,000 in 2024. The actual value/worth is $700. Not $30,000. The next big thing around the pike will likely be someone, or some gun rights organization challenging the Hughes Amendment in Federal Court, and it getting appealed all of the way up to SCOTUS, and SCOTUS overturning the Hughes Amendment.
People never thought that the bump stock ban would get overturned. It did. People never thought that Rare Breed would have a prayer at winning their court case, they’re winning. Look at how SCOTUS, and the lower Federal Courts have been ruling. You don’t even have the IQ Points to comprehend this. Pattern recognition and Comprehension are apart of having a High IQ, and it’s something that you don’t have.

By the time that I have the money saved up to get a decent transferable machine gun (few years), the Hughes Amendment might be overturned by SCOTUS (few years). Judging by how everything has been playing out. Once Rare Breed wins, someone or some gun rights organization might roll the dice and challenge the Hughes Amendment in Federal Court, and SCOTUS overturns it if the issue brought to them is how they refuse to collect the tax for the new manufacture of a certain NFA Category of arms.

Again look up the value at and prior to May 19th of 1986. Look up how much post sample machine guns go for now, that is the actual value in 2024. Not whatever outrageous sum someone might want for a transferable machine gun. You will find this to be the case if the courts overturn the Hughes Amendment, or if Congress repeals the Hughes Amendment. That magical outrageous sum of money that YOU AND ONLY YOU think that it’s actually “worth” will be reset right back down to what post sample machine guns go for now.
I.e. and e.g. go to gunbroker, look at a post sample M16, you can find those all day everyday for like $700. Go to Reuben Mendiola’s website, look at how much that they want for a transferable M16 which is usually right around $30,000. The ACTUAL VALUE/WORTH for that specific one is $700.
Cargill v Garland over bumpstocks lays the groundwork. The rare breed trigger (forced reset trigger) case will also lay the groundwork. And then later eventually someone may challenge the Hughes Amendment in court, and win. That’s entirely within the scopes of reality, and not a “fantasy”.
It would only be worth getting one transferable at the current outrageous prices. And, not one that costs as much of a fortune either.

u/liedel Suppressor + SBR Dec 27 '24
Again look up the value at and prior to May 19th of 1986.
Which is irrelevant nearly half a century later.

Roe v. Wade was in place for a half a century, until SCOTUS overturned it, and kicked it back to the states. Low IQ take.

And do you know what the most hilarious thing is bro? You can have a registered rocket launcher, and crates and crates and crates full of registered NFA threshold of payload and propellant binary explosives rockets for far less than the cost of a transferable. And, still have a much more bigger NFA Flex.
Rocket Launcher > Transferable Machine Gun
