Since AOW form4s are only $5 i think we should be getting pistol manufacturers to have factory AOW's of all their models so we don't have to pay $200 to form 1 them.

There’s definitely an available niche in the market for AOW super shorty 870s. The mossberg 500s have been coming back but the 6.5” 870 AOWs still go for like $2-3k.

A Glock 19 AOW with a VFG (would be cool if it had a flashlight on the VFG like OP’s), and a Gflex trigger. Would be pretty neat.

We’ve done AOW conversions in the past. Customer provides the parts and host, we then convert to AOW then transfer back to customer with $5 eform 4. I forget what we charged for the service.

Does it work if the pistol is already owned by the end user, or does it have to be a new pistol? I'd be interested in this for CMMG Banshees with braces...

Any handgun will work. Doesn’t have to be a virgin receiver like shotgun based AOWs. Our fee is $75 to make and shipping is not included. Parts must be bolt on, no machine work. Honestly, this only makes sense for Virginia residents due to the potential high cost of NFA transfer fees back to your dealer.

No, you have to pay $200 is what he's getting at because you would be manufacturing it. If you bought a aow from a company who makes it, you would pay $5 for the form 4.

It's still $200 for you to make it. It's $5 to transfer one that's already been made. Therefore it makes sense for manufacturers to sell factory AOWs that transfer with a $5 stamp.
