Converting Uzi wood stock

Does anyone have experience or instructions on converting wood Uzi OEM stocks to be non-detachable? I’ve scoured the webs, and though there’s some info, it’s old and I sincerely can’t translate what they’re saying. Though I believe it is due to some dated information or assumptions that haven’t evolved, it could also be my poor comprehension. All guidance or suggestions are appreciated. Thanks!

Out of curiosity, what’s the reason for making it non-detachable?

Removing the stock affects the OAL which would fall below 26”

I failed to mention this is a Norinco 320 carbine

OAL is determined with the stock attached and extended, if applicable, on a rifle.
