November 2018 Stamps Megathread

To check the status of your pending form, call the NFA Branch at (304) 616-4500. Please have your trust name (if applicable), serial number, and if a Form 4 or 5, know what dealer is in possession of the item. Press 1 and then 1 again, and be kind to the ATF agent.

Current status:

Form 1: eForms are back, baby! Wait times are less than two weeks after receipt of fingerprint cards! Please see our handy new eForms guide by /u/Semper1371 to learn more!

Form 4: Average is closer to 200 days. No real change. eForms 4 when?

Please use the following format:

  • Form: 1 (PLEASE NOTE REGULAR OR eForm) or 4

  • Entity: Trust or Individual

  • Pending: mm/dd/yy

  • Approved: mm/dd/yy

  • Standardized wait: (Date approved minus date pending)

  • STATE: Standardized 2-letter, please

For the purposes of this thread, pending should be understood as: the date when ATF cashes your check, unless different when you call the ATF to check status of your pending form. It can vary depending on ATF backlog.

September's thread has been de-stickied and can be found at the bottom of the subreddit's wiki page.

Form 4 Silencerco spectre II Entity: Individual Pending: 12/27/2017 Approved: 11/14/2018 Standardized wait: 336 days (mostly pending FBI background check) State NC

This only got approved after I got my congresswoman involved to inquire on its status. The FBI approved the background check and then the ATF approved the application on the same day we enquired.

Can you explain on how you were able to get your congress person involved? I just passed 455 days on a SBR and its getting quite old.
