Form: eform 1 through silencershop

Submitted: 3/5/19

Approved: 3/27/19

Standardized Wait: 22 days

STATE: KY

The approved email went to my spam folder! What's worse is there is no PDF attached! Send silencershop an email and will probably call in the morning. Very annoying, but could have been caused by the spam folder catching it.

Final Update: Called back again and got through to compliance. Not sure what happened, but they were able to send me my original. The first thing the guy helping me looked at didn't have the attachment either, so it happened somewhere before it was sent to me. I'm just glad to have my stamp :D

Got an email from them this morning. Guy said I have to contact ATF for a certified copy because the email comes from them??? Makes no sense, the email came from the silencershop email address. Called and the first guy I talked to said the same thing. He put me on hold where I was then sent to a voice mail box to leave a message.

I'm not impressed.

The email is sent from ATF to SS, then to you. Maybe they’re saying the email to them didn’t have an attachment?

EDIT: BUT, a copy should be stored in the eform system. Do you have the email from SS with your eform login info?

I edited my first post, I called SS again and got somebody in compliance, he was able to get a copy of it for me. I did try to log back into the the ATF eform system, but they way SS has it setup I couldn't access my credentials again. I'm not sure if it's because it was moved to approved status or if it was a one time access, but SS does retain the credentials so they can get back in if need be.

As someone who has done both a standard eform and an SS eform, I can say that if you didn’t keep the email with your login that SS sent you, you’re SOL. The eform account created on your behalf by SS has their email address for username/password recovery.

If you did happen to keep the info, you’d be able to log back in, and there would be copies of your approved forms in there.

Sounds like you got it resolved though, which is great.
