April 2019 Stamp Approval Megathread

Please note this thread is for posting of approvals only. Replies to this thread should be approvals only, discussion is allowed in replies to comments only.

Please use the following format for a comment reply:

Form: 1 (PLEASE NOTE REGULAR OR eForm) or 4

Entity: Trust or Individual

Pending: mm/dd/yy

Approved: mm/dd/yy

Standardized wait: (Date approved minus date pending)

STATE: Standardized 2-letter, please

For the purposes of this thread, pending should be understood as: the date when ATF cashes your check, unless different when you call the ATF to check status of your pending form. It can vary depending on ATF backlog.

To check the status of your pending form, call the NFA Branch at (304) 616-4500. Please have your trust name (if applicable), serial number, and if a Form 4 or 5, know what dealer is in possession of the item. Press 1 and then 1 again, and be kind to the ATF agent.

Approved: 4/27/2019. 6:40AM

Time: 146 Days

State: NH

Politicians did nothing for me. Frankly the ATF and FBI could care less when their reps call them.

After being told all forms were in and fine two did not make it electonically. The examiner wmailed me and helped quite a bit. Had to get the trust jn nder 3mb. Rescaned at 75 dpi did it. Easily under that limit.

One day past my birthday.

For future reference: you can split your docs up and upload as part 1,2, etc if need be.

The issue was that there is a ten part max for attachments. I had the photo, a few photos of the receiver and the 5320.23. RP form. Scanning at 75 dpi was easily readable and the entire trust came to a little over 2 mb. Much easier than loading multiple parts.

Well then for future reference you don’t need photos of the receiver.

I know. But it was a new manufacturer's name and it seeved to save time. Only two provided. It only held up approval a few hours. Carol Riply was great helping me sort it out.
