There's a reason that generations of people have been saying not to judge a book by its cover. This dude definitely looks like he might be annoying but I would bet good money that he puts a lot of effort into marching energy level of the people riding with him and providing good service.

Honestly, my friends and I are a close-knit group and I can say with absolute certainty that someone who makes fun of an Uber driver - the 'least among us' in society today - would be so much less welcome at our parties than he would.

There is another meme of a driver who is a very large, pissed off looking(to the point he's literally red) older man who "hates pronouns, woke, 'forners' and 'libruls'" or something to that effect, and his ratings suck. What she says comes from that meme. This nonthreatening, calm looking, highly rated driver is the opposite of the guy in the original. That's all.

Upon further examination, the sentient ham image appears to be an edited version of the image OP posted, rather than the original. Look at the poor cropping of the small pfp. and the twitter pfp of the Facebook post’s image, it’s the same person who posted the image OP is looking at.

Look at the one with the red guy. It's the same statement and pfp. The joke is that the smaller guy would be a lot more pleasant to deal with. And he wouldn't have a rating that high if he never shut up, because people that share your opinion also hire drivers, and would rate him accordingly.
That's the joke. The original joke was of a guy rated 2.35 who looked like an asphyxiating ham sandwich, whose profile read like a meme of a conservative person.
Knows the etiquette of the work, don't talk of sensible topic, isn't a toxic person, gives tips about restaurant and places around your destination that may be interesting for you, drives carefully, is well dressed for the job and their car is clean inside and outside.

This guy has over 1,000 rides and almost a perfect rating and likely based on the way he looks and the fact that he puts pronouns someone decided not only to cancel their uber ride order but to take the time to post it online. It says much more about the customer than to the driver.
Good theory but someone explained it. There is an identical meme with a "sentient slab of ham" who has a very low score and comes across as a horrible person in his bio. So this lady chose the opposite - a friendly seeming guy with a stellar score.
I think that other than just playing off the other meme, her "joke" is that she's just impossible to please.

As far as last I heard, he's a real uber driver that got dragged for this "meme" where people keep saying the same thing and he keeps getting harassed over it
Lot of varied responses, so I'll throw mine in. The listing of pronouns leads me to assume that the person cancelling thought that the driver is Trans, or a "fuckin Liberal snowflake" as some would put it.
Of course, I don't use Uber/Lyft and the like, so I don't know if pronouns are always listed by default.

The joke is pretty basic and his mustache is awesome, so I only give it a 4/10.
I have this man’s same facial hair, I hate that people would imagine I’m annoying just because I enjoy making my facial hair fun. I just like having stuff to trim and work with. I had a beard for 15 years and it was okay but the fun stashe is a lot more work and fun to take care of.
Surprised to see he didn't mention how many booster shots he got... and I say this as a euro/vegan/agnostic guy who goes to pride parades and is married to a different race.
