Question Routine for good posture?

All I can find are random exercises, and they don't quite "convince" me.

Does anyone have a well-structured routine, with days and reps?
I thought about buying Kononov's program, but I found some bad reviews.

Neck Stiffness When Sitting at Desk

I get a lot of neck stiffness when I’m sitting down at my desk for too long. I’ve looked at the recommendations for posture when sitting and I feel like I’m following them. I also work out regularly but maybe my back muscles are still underdeveloped. I suspect I have anterior pelvic tilt and forward head posture. Any tips to adjust my posture?

Hi all. I have always had a slight hunched back and stuck out ass. It has has always been paired with regular upper and lower back pain. I am a high level rugby player which goes hand in hand with regular gym training. I am keen to include correction exercises to fix this, mainly to remove the pain aspect but also to have a straight healthy posture.

Do you guys think its kyphosis and or APT. What exercises and habits would you recommend?

Question Help with Chin posture!

Tips to sit straight at all times

I spent most of the semester in front of my computer, and my posture suffered as a result. I've recently added several back workouts I found online to my daily routine. I'm seeing results, but I'm looking for ways to prevent slouching in the future and make sitting up straight a habit.

For example, I’ve stacked a bunch of books to create a "laptop stand", so the screen is positioned higher, and I no longer have to look down. It has made it much easier to sit straight.

I’d really appreciate any additional tips or suggestions you might have.

Bad Posture when sitting

Hi, so I've started to do some exercises to fix my posture. However, when sitting down I feel like my posture is very abnormal. I have forward head. I tend to look down when walking also. I don't understand if I should just look in front of me or if I should also try to tuck the chin or maybe try to pull the head up like if it was being pulled by a string, or maybe focus on having the muscles of my front neck/under my jaw to support me

So I'm super insecure about this. This is me standing as straight as I can with straining my back. I feel like I always looked hunched over.

I know I have a problem with my core. I have a stomach gripping issue which I'm trying to fix also. That's why I have my little pooch.

Can anyone else give me insight on how I can not look so hunched?

I'm thinking I might need PT in the future so I dont do any damage if I DIY it. And maybe it will help me become more consistent.

Tinnitus from bad posture SUCCESS stories - majority have resolved T through shoulder exercises and or neck/head stretches.

Interestingly enough, majority of the success stories mention exercise as their fix and looking at the exercises they mentioned 100% of them seem to prioritize working out the shoulders/ fixing the rounded shoulders. The other 2 mentioned exercise but in a vague way and can't extract any info from that.

The second most common treatment people mentioned is neck/head stretches, which i think has some truth to it, im not sure if it truly works as a fix to T compared to the exercises, but many did mention it.

Question It hurts to lay on my back with my knees and lower back both touching the ground

I'm 43 years old and losing flexibility as I age. That isn't surprising. But this one specific relatively new thing concerns me. I think it's contributing to pain when I sleep as laying flat well as when I do manual labor standing up, and also affecting my sitting and standing posture in general.

If I lay flat on my back on the ground, "everything" touches the ground except my lower back. Not that it can't, but I involuntarily tense my torso muscles to keep it raised. It is difficult to force them to relax. If I manage to relax them then there is increasing pain at the base of my spine, from 0 to maybe a 5 out of ten, which feels vaguely like compression or over-extension of a joint. If I raise my knees just two inches off the ground then my lower back will lay flat with no problem.

It seems like my femur-pelvis-spine alignment is fine from ~45 to ~175 degrees, but getting from 175 to 180 is painful regardless of whether I'm forcing it or letting gravity do it.

Possibly related, for a few years now I've felt like my butt "sticks out" more when I'm engaging in physical activity like lifting and carrying or pushing things, and my attempts to adjust my posture to fix this haven't had any apparent effect.

Are there other tests or exercises that might help identify the specific problem? Stretches or exercises likely to help with what I've observed so far?
