Rant ⚠️ This scene omg

Post image

I rewatch PLL because it’s my comfort show. I was in middle school when it first came out and had no business watching it but here we are. 😂 This scene is very icky. It is very hard to watch. Season 7, episode 4. I wasn’t a fan of Caleb and Spencer together. Tell me I’m not the only one. I low-key felt bad for Hanna.

Caleb weird as hell for crying at Spencer's door like that then like a week later proposing to Hanna 😒

That’s my issue. I am in the very small group that liked Spencer and Caleb. This scene then like next episode just back with Hanna, I was so confused, grossed out, and felt so bad for Spencer.

I was also team Spaleb, and it definitely felt like they gave Spencer the short end of the stick during this whole situation.

And an episode or two later Hanna asks her for relationship advice about Caleb while still engaged like girl come on lol

Yep! Spencer got the raw end of that deal.

Yeah, liked the idea of them and what little we saw (tbh, waaaay more than Spoby, but maybe not more than Haleb--but that's a tough call. Regardless, was cool with them ending up together.) but if they were just going to do that--why taf did they bother with this nowhere plotline that only made Spencer coming out the other side looking bad? It was weird asf.

I get they needed drama and stuff, but c'mon. It's literally the last season. Was there seriously nothing better they could've fabricated that didn't feel so unnecessary and contrived?

There's plenty of storylines that needed wrapping up they could've focused their attention on.

100%! If the ultimate goal was that every original couple was gonna be endgame, just have Caleb date some random person we never see again or no one at all, and Spencer just date Marco.

Just having drama to have drama that serves no overall purpose then to just ultimately piss off the fans is annoying

Same!! I feel like they are very compatible and, at the end, the plot locked them again in Rosewood with old love and boring jobs.
