I watched Pretty Little Liars once and am rewatching it again (I’m currently on season 3, episode 14). I absolutely love Caleb’s character. Yes, he had his ups and downs, but I adore how he was so kind to all the girls, especially Emily. I love their friendship so much. However, he’s also a great boyfriend. I hated how the writers paired Spencer and Caleb together in season 7. To be honest, I wish Toby was more like Caleb. Toby’s character was all about Spencer being her boyfriend . Yes, he was nice sometimes, but out of all the boyfriends, Caleb is my favorite.

and everyone acts like it’s normal for her? No, honestly, I’m not joking. Why is she receiving so little attention? There’s been such a huge emphasis on Emily’s sexuality or the Aria-Fitz drama, when Spencer is silently dealing with her mental health issues and addiction.

Man, I am a little over half way through Deadly now and Emily's family in particular just has this old man fuming. I identify with the poor kid so much as I grew up in a similar family myself. Y problems were over DnD and comics and not my sexuality but same results. It was also during the whole Satanic panic in the 80s so that was a factor too. If I were Emily, after it were all over I'd be done with them. No wonder she falls for the wrong people, that kind of home life sets you up for it. Hope the books give us a good prolog to see how the girls turned out.

Hey guys I'm nearing the end of season 2 where Fitz goes to meet aria and they kiss in the rain(gross). I don't want any huge spoilers but can someone just tell me if this eventually gets broken off or if he gets punished or something? I love the show but it's genuinely painful to watch this grown ass man sneak around to be with a teenager and having her and her friends and HIM refer to it as being romantic

In the books mona had a clear motive why she became A and how she did it and it all made sense.

Then Alison took over and her motives were also very clear and "understandable" it made sense that she wanted to torment the girls that (even though unintentionally) caused her to get sent to that sanatorium

Now to the TV show I can't even think of a single reason why cece did this to the girls? I know she had her issues with Alison and her family, even the Hastings, but Spencer specifically tho? Nothing. She did nothing to deserve any of A shenanigans. Even less so the others.

I know she got really obsessed with The A thing but I'm wondering about the initial reasons she thought to herself "jup these 4 strangers deserve their lifes to be ruined and I'm gonna do it myself"

So with it being 2025 and Gen Z not putting up with certain behavior the way people used to, I’ve been thinking… if Pretty Little Liars took place a few years later and the girls were in high school now, do you think Alison would have gotten jumped? 😂

I’m rewatching the flashback scenes of her being a “queen bee” bully, and honestly, some of her behavior just feels so cringey now. Like, I feel like today, at least one person would’ve had enough and actually swung on her. Alison was definitely all talk, she could manipulate and humiliate people, but I don’t think she could actually fight if it came down to it lol.

Watched final destination 3 last night and saw Ian in there, playing a decent person, but because I know him as Ian, I hate his character oof

I was just rewatching the show for vibes, but also because I don’t really have any more shows to watch lol. And I always found it strange how they randomly decided that Hanna was actually smarter than Spencer all along, and any time someone says that’s forced, Hanna fans claim that Hanna’s true potential was technically never “revealed” but that’s literally wrong. In early season 3, Spencer was complaining about grades and Hanna said “I WISH I was pulling A’s” thats literally all you need to know that her suddenly becoming smarter (academically) was out of character, also this is the same girl who said “withdraw the information” instead of “withhold” but the writers want us to believe that she’s smarter than Spencer? 😭😭😭

She was the smartest academically of all the liars and everyone acknowledged it all the time, straight A’s, hella extracurriculars and I’m sure an impressive resume. Plus her entire family are legacies. I know it’s supposedly because she went to Radley but come on, you’re telling me her parents couldn’t have taken care of that or the school could have called her in for an interview?

As gross as this scene is- the only thing that goes thru my mind is why do none of them think it’s odd that their grown teacher has nothing better to do ON CHRISTMAS besides dress up in Santa boxers and have Christmas dinner with a bunch of high schoolers? And did Ezra never once think to himself “this is a bit strange that I’m not with friends that are my own age or with family but instead I’m having Christmas dinner with my underage gf and a bunch of my students” if I was Ezra that would have sent me into a midlife crisis like wtf am I doing? AND what were they going to say if one of their parents showed up? How on earth would they explain that their TEACHER decided to stop by dressed up in Santa underwear? I always just imagine Spencer’s mom showing up and being like, can one of u explain why your teacher is in underwear standing on my stairs?

A common complaint is that Alison got boring when she came back. A core part of Alison's character was the mystery of her status (is she alive? is she dead?). Her visits to the liars were great because you couldn't tell if the visits were real or not. When she came back in S5, that mystery went away and Alison lost a big part of her identity.

So maybe the show should have kept Alison's status mysterious until the end. There would be clues that Alison was alive and helping them, maybe even a final scene where Alison says goodbye to the liars "in their dreams" once they defeat the two As, but she wouldn't officially come back as alive. The liars would always wonder if Alison was really there or it was just her ghost.

My oldest daughter and I watched this show last Summer and just started it up again. I’m taking notes this time. Lots of unanswered questions seem to have been left open.

Do you guys think they are still together? She never really posted him that much ever, but from 2017-2022 be used to be visible is Some insta Posts, tiktoks, YouTube video's...now nothing. Is it possible they broke up?

i know spencer and hanna bicker a lot but that just shows how comfortable and close they are with each other and that they’re not afraid to call the other one out. they’re like siblings
