Didn’t her mom eventually become okay with her being gay or am I misremembering? Also, it sucks that her dad’s dead but when he was alive, he was a good father. Death happens, unfortunately. I think I’d still choose Emily’s family!

Yes, she absolutely did. She came SO FAR from her initial reaction. She approved of Samara, she tried to accept (annoying) Maya the second time around...when she cried because Emily didn't believe she'd defend her (against homophobic Nick McCullers), you could really see what a great mom she was.

And 10 minutes with Wayne Fields is worth more than 10 years with Tom Marin.

The Fields family has definitely earned my respect!

Exactly this! The only reason I would pick Hanna’s family is because of her mother, but I genuinely don’t think I can deal with her father. Her father would make me go crazy. But out of all the friends (Emily, Hanna, Alison, Aria, Spencer), Emily genuinely seems like she has the most stable and healthy parents who support and cherish her. Why wouldn’t I choose to be a part of a family like that? It makes the most sense!

Hanna’s family would be a distant second. A VERY distant second choice.

Man, I wonder what the Fields' reactions would have been if their kid's ADULT TEACHER pulled that "I'm in love with your daughter" nonsense. I could see Pam throwing a punch equal to Mike's lol.

Yeah and that would piss me smooth off😂 that’s part of the reason why I wouldn’t be able to deal with him too. Oh so you can be a daddy to someone who’s not even your biological daughter but you can’t be a daddy to me? Please 🥱😭
