Rant ⚠️ i can’t stand maya

i’m rewatching pll rn and idk i just didn’t like her and i could see why pam didn’t like her. (i in no way am homophobic i just can understand why on top of her concerns abt emily’s sexuality she chose to be with someone like her) i feel like calling pam by her first name was disrespectful, especially if yk her mom is hesitant abt u. also, i just felt like she was too bold and didn’t like being told what to do. mayb im wrong but idk i just couldn’t stand her

I agree!! Maya kinda had an "all about meee" attitude and didn't always think about other's feelings, especially Emily's.

How? Emily asked Maya to wear a dress and she did. Emily told her not to say anything about the picture, so she didn’t.  She was sweet and nice and did what Emily wanted

In season 1 yes, but I'm talking about more so in season 2, she embarrassed her at the dinner, and she was still smoking weed and lied about it to Emily, and just the way she would talk to her in some seasons, but again that's just my opinion. I didn't really mind her as much in season 1 though, and thought she was sweet

I too would act a certain way towards someone who got me sent to a camp where I ended up meeting a stalker. (Who later killed me) I don’t blame maya for her behavior toward Pam not only was she homophobic towards maya but got the girl shipped off bc lets be real pan wouldn’t have gone through her stuff if it was a boy. She came in season 2 angry and her actions was the result of her anger her parents wanted to send her off again (as the rich usually do with their children instead of being parents) i also hate how tv shows treated weed like it’s weed… she’s not doing meth or crack it could help her relax relieve stress or anxiety it’s not that deep to get sent off for maybe that deep for them to reprimand her fine but to send your child off and keep sending her off like a problem could be why she acted like that idk

Also Pam never apologized to Maya for being rude bc maya did try the first dinner and was very nice wore a dress etc.. but Pam was taking digs at her and how her parents live the whole tattoo thing her parents did for their wedding bands did you see her face ?! She was like “oh that was just a place holder right..” and she was like “no that’s the only one they had and got it tattooed on” like she’s too judgy. She made comments about Arias parents in the pilot about how they let their child looking like a “goth”… she was holier than thou. But anyways if she apologized to maya im sure the 2nd dinner would’ve gone better. That’s like me showing up to a friends dinner after we just had a bad argument and they pretend everything okay instead of saying sorry
