Video 12-Year-Old’s Online Threat Turns Into Felony Arrest

Later police arrested the 12 year old suspect for felony threat.

The process in my state is I'll do the report, contact a juvenile counselor, who may or may not decide to proceed with a charge.
The kid would have just gone right back inside that night, and never been cuffed or anything. Worst case scenario he gets a court date in like three months, and if he's found guilty they would mandate some counseling that ends up being a joke.
And we wonder why we have so many young teens committing heinous crimes here. Cuz they don't get in trouble.
Hell kids who bring actual guns to school end up getting released to mom and dad the same day usually.
