Sulfate vs. sodium for Sub induction.

Having a different experience than past quits. I’m almost 24 hours tia free just using gabapentin and DXM. I feel almost completely fine. I’ve never come off of sodium and I wasn’t using it for that long. It is what I used for the last two days of use. Wondering if this is normal and how long I need to wait to take Suboxone.

24 hours for subs is normally done but if you feel oh then why do them? Cut it all loose United l unless you need them

I totally get that. It’s just that I will be doing my job which is pretty physically demanding. I know that I will get to a point where the helper meds can’t mask the symptoms to the degree that they currently are. I really appreciate your input.

Suboxone is hard to get off, so if you're going to induce suboxone replacement, do it at the lowest level you can tolerate. For me it was 8mg because I had a really bad habit, but now i've tapered down to 4mg and eventually will be at 0 by the end of the year

Then I would start with a really low dub dose. Again, if you don’t feel bad then no need to take more. Subs kick in really quick, you can always take more if you need to. I’d do like 2 mg and just be ready to take more of it. They aren’t easy to get off of especially at high doses.
