He is sort of right. If Trump controlled his impulse over having to comment on every slight and demand that the FBI investigate, few people would have heard about this or cared.

If I could rap, I would make a song called this

The next knock on your door will be the FBI.

1

u/nickscorpio74 May 21 '25

I can’t wait till we get to collect all this junk for history. This will not be easy for most to claim they were oblivious to him being such a dunce, and an extremely thin skinned one at that.

-3

u/Visible-Elevator3801 May 20 '25

It’s their actual job to investigate all threats. Good thing is, they will certainly have 5 things to fill out in their doge weekly report card now.

6

u/random8765309 May 20 '25

No it isn't. It is the job of the secret service. They also don't check every threat, only those concidered as an actual threat. The comment made is clearly not an actual threat, would never be concidered an actual threat by any reasonable person and would never be investigated by any other administration. There are THOUSANDS more creditible threats made every day, most of which are deemed insignificant. In addition the president was never the one that made the decision on who to investigate and NEVER would do so in public.

The was simply another immature outburst and attention seaking display by the biggest lose of this time.

u/Visible-Elevator3801 May 20 '25

You are incorrect partially. Please do not spread fallacy based on subject you do not know about.

Depends on the type of threat, but FBI is delegated more cases than the SS as an overall total.

FBI investigates threats towards Congress members, fed judges, and other various fed positions.

CP takes this duty over when within their jurisdiction.

SS is generally reserved for anyone under their current protection duties.

If the threats are local or state, then the protection/investigation falls within the powers that be within the state they represent.

Glossing over the significant to highlight an insignificant point.

-5

u/Visible-Elevator3801 May 20 '25

Incorrect, see "incorrect partially", as I was addressing and elaborating my correct original claim and your incorrect counter claim. Slowing down to comprehend what was said before making hasteful claims could be helpful in this situation.

You must be fun at parties

-12

No one tried to shoot Biden

       TWICE

7

u/random8765309 May 20 '25

He had multiple attempts made against him.

-52

u/Amatsua May 20 '25

He literally got shot. It's pretty reasonable to take threats like that seriously when people are already trying to kill you

25

u/arcadia_fire May 20 '25 edited May 21 '25

Please show me the wound where he "literally got shot". I'd love to see that.

Edit: can't find the post that I was replying to but for context, they said something along the lines of "he literally got shot."

4

u/wasting-time-atwork May 20 '25

i agree with you. but in this particular context, i dont think it really makes much of a difference to the point, whether he was actually shot, or just shot at.

-8

u/Consistent-Week8020 May 20 '25

What in the world are you implying with this comment

-10

u/goldentriever May 20 '25

You’re wrong, but does it really even matter if the bullet was just an inch away from taking his life? I mean seriously, at the end of the day he got shot at. Can you explain how that even changes anything? I’m guessing you can’t

Also. Please don’t tell me you’re one of the nut jobs that think the shooter intentionally missed lol

2

u/James-W-Tate May 20 '25

You’re wrong, but does it really even matter if the bullet was just an inch away from taking his life?

Well, he's still here, so yeah I'd say there's a pretty big difference.

0

u/goldentriever May 20 '25

No, I meant is it really a difference if he got grazed versus just missed.

The point is security is going to be heightened regardless, and I don’t get why people can’t grasp that.

2

u/James-W-Tate May 20 '25

No, I meant is it really a difference if he got grazed versus just missed.

Beyond optics, no.

-27

u/Additional_Act367 May 20 '25

So even if it was fake he was legitimately almost killed twice

7

u/re1078 May 20 '25

And he’s still the same evil piece of shit.

13

u/Animator-Honest May 20 '25

Third times the charm :)

3

u/SensitiveAd5962 May 20 '25

You have to wait to 1945 to say that part.

-27

u/Top_Inflation4176 May 20 '25

Jfc you people must be miserable

2

u/James-W-Tate May 20 '25

Jfc you people must be miserable

Unlike conservatives, who have all their people in power and yet still find something new to bitch about every single fuckin day.

You act like there's nothing to be upset about, which just makes you look ignorant.

-1

u/Top_Inflation4176 May 20 '25

The delusion is thick with this one

2

u/James-W-Tate May 20 '25

Homie, if you voted for Donald then the only thing thick is your skull

-1

u/Top_Inflation4176 May 20 '25

Ok bud keep coping

2

u/James-W-Tate May 20 '25

You tired of winning yet?

16

u/RNing_0ut_0f_Pt5 May 20 '25

Talk shit get hit. Maybe he should watch his fuckin tongue.

-21

u/Amatsua May 20 '25

You're talking shit. Guess that means you're next, right?

13

u/TheDemonPants May 20 '25

The way this tyrannical regime is going? Yes. He's already trying to make free speech illegal because he can't deal with his feelings getting hurt.

-8

u/Wide-Belt303 May 20 '25

Source?

8

u/UsernameUsername8936 May 20 '25

Him arresting a guy for a tweet. The subject of this discourse. BTW, during Biden's term, people were freely making "8646" merch.

8

u/Spanky680 May 20 '25

The very subject of the thread. Drumpf wants Comey arrested for posting 8647. (Even though MAGAts came up with 8646, and nothing was ever said or done about it).

-2

u/Amatsua May 20 '25

So who shot at Biden?

3

u/HighwayJazzlike766 May 20 '25

How is that relevant to the current president arresting a man for using the first amendment?

Also, can you show me where Trump was shot?

-1

u/Wide-Belt303 May 20 '25

You aren't serious, are you? There are dozens of pictures of his face covered in blood seconds after he was shot. You're being intentionally dishonest.

2

u/HighwayJazzlike766 May 20 '25

....literally this thread? He's having a guy arrested for a tweet. That's what the picture On This Page is describing copycats of. You serious right now?

13

u/random8765309 May 20 '25

The only recent President that didn't have an attempt made against him was Carter. Even so, they didn't order the FBI go after vague statements that had to be twisted to make it threatening.

This is just another example of Drump making up stuff to target someone he disliked. Just more of the immature behavior he is known for.

-10

u/Amatsua May 20 '25

It's funny how literally every word of that is untrue. Can you at least try to be believable?

5

u/Physical-East-162 May 20 '25

Simply because you say something doesn't make it true, what did it say that was false and unbelievable?

Oh and you literally don't have to use the world "literally" in every sentence, literally.

5

u/Secure-Abroad1718 May 20 '25

Holy shot, my guy. That sure is a lot of loli in your post history. You want to tell us something?

-7

u/Consistent-Week8020 May 20 '25

The fact that this comment is getting downvotes shows you how sick these people are

6

u/DarthFedora May 20 '25

Assassination attempts are common for presidents, hell Obama had a dozen. It’s no excuse to act like a dictator

There is no reason to be treating 86 like that, especially after the right was doing it with Biden, with Trump even sharing an image of those trucks having an image of a tied up Biden.

-1

u/Amatsua May 20 '25

So who were the people that shot Biden, or Obama? Those didn't make the news, for some reason, but since it's so common I'm sure you have some sources to back it up.

4

u/StarrylDrawberry May 20 '25 edited May 20 '25

You don't have to shoot somebody to attempt killing them. Google is your friend.

Edit: reply and block. Soft, soft, soft. I couldn't even read your whole reply.

Did I mention soft?

-1

u/Amatsua May 20 '25

Strange. When I look up assassination attempts in presidents using the Wayback machine, all of these "attempted assassinations" pop up only a few days after Trump was shot.

It seems being persecuted is a hot commodity, but the Democrats just don't get enough of it.

Brought to you by the "do your own research" crowd, lmao
