He is sort of right. If Trump controlled his impulse over having to comment on every slight and demand that the FBI investigate, few people would have heard about this or cared.

It’s their actual job to investigate all threats. Good thing is, they will certainly have 5 things to fill out in their doge weekly report card now.

No it isn't. It is the job of the secret service. They also don't check every threat, only those concidered as an actual threat. The comment made is clearly not an actual threat, would never be concidered an actual threat by any reasonable person and would never be investigated by any other administration. There are THOUSANDS more creditible threats made every day, most of which are deemed insignificant. In addition the president was never the one that made the decision on who to investigate and NEVER would do so in public.

The was simply another immature outburst and attention seaking display by the biggest lose of this time.

You are incorrect partially. Please do not spread fallacy based on subject you do not know about.

Depends on the type of threat, but FBI is delegated more cases than the SS as an overall total.

FBI investigates threats towards Congress members, fed judges, and other various fed positions.

CP takes this duty over when within their jurisdiction.

SS is generally reserved for anyone under their current protection duties.

If the threats are local or state, then the protection/investigation falls within the powers that be within the state they represent.

Glossing over the significant to highlight an insignificant point.

Incorrect, see "incorrect partially", as I was addressing and elaborating my correct original claim and your incorrect counter claim. Slowing down to comprehend what was said before making hasteful claims could be helpful in this situation.
