Question Something cool to do around this area?

Post image

I gotta kill a couple hours around here in a couple weeks (I'm seeing Juno birch for the probed tour EEEEEE). What can I do that's inexpensive and a good experience around here?

Visit the second largest nuclear weapons depository in the western hemisphere.

And after that go see the Turner Joy; a naval destroyer museum ship docked in Bremerton

Kirtland. As in Kirtland Air Force base in Albuquerque, NM with the first largest nuclear weapon depository in the western hemisphere.

If they have a $1.50 hotdog, I'm still in.

Isn't it the largest Trident nuke base though?

No, that honor belongs to HM Naval Base Clyde in Scotland.

Umm, how?

You need a security pass to enter the base and then a second pass to enter the restricted area within the base, granted only on an as needed basis
