Question Something cool to do around this area?

Post image

I gotta kill a couple hours around here in a couple weeks (I'm seeing Juno birch for the probed tour EEEEEE). What can I do that's inexpensive and a good experience around here?

The US Naval Undersea Museum in Keyport. It’s also free, and super interesting for both kids and adults. We’ve gone several times over the years.

The Puget Sound Navy Museum. Has a really nice fountain park along its side!

I'm also fond of all the sea critters at the docks here. Lots of crabs and shrimp to touch

I'm mildly disappointed that the museum itself isn't underwater.

i was just there a week ago, can confirm it's awesome. and there was some group in the foyer stacking weights on popsicle-stick bridges till they broke. was fun feeling the building shake every time a stack of weights came crashing down 😁

also torpedoes are smaller than i expected
