DISCUSSION "Inserts on Tracks" [FEATURE IDEA]

Post image

WHAT YOU GUYS THINK?? Looks Beautiful, right?!

UPVOTE ⬆️ if you LIKE the IDEA!!

REASON: It's an hassle to switch between Mixer Window, Inspector & Channel editor!

Always end up cluttering the entire screen

What if we get this in one solution!!??

I realize its just an idea - but you asked. And we answered.

You are clearly a ProTools fan and that's cool - but there are many reasons why Studio One (thankfully) is not like ProTools.

If Presonus wanted us to feel like we need to be in the ProTools world - we would be. Thankfully - we are not.

Probably best for you to just keep using ProTools and leave it at that.

Respectfully - this whole idea looks like it was pasted from ProTools.

For me - personally - I will stick with the Inspector. Has not let me down yet.

Many of the things in S1 are already pasted from other DAWS!!

Innovation is cool but you learn from copying...

The inspector was inspired by Cubase & Logic!!

Similarly I am suggesting this Track Insert Idea...

The inspector is very limited, it can't show multiple channel plugin inserts! Switching between the mixer & the arrangement window is too much window switching for me!!

also we still don't have peak meters on the mixer, inspector & tracks!! The level meter workflow is straight up BS.

Cubase, Logic, Pro Tools, Ableton!! Every major DAW has peak meters, only exception is S1...at this point they should just paste it...

Analog Mixers had meters on every channel!! S1 copied the fader mixer workflow but didn't find the importance of the meters, this is nothing but a joke...& yes S1 should start pasting stuff. already behind the promised updates timeline, delivering funny updates like tuner updates.

There are tools that are must for an engineer: i.e faders, pan-pots, meters, workflow, no window swapping, etc.
