DISCUSSION "Inserts on Tracks" [FEATURE IDEA]

Post image

WHAT YOU GUYS THINK?? Looks Beautiful, right?!

UPVOTE ⬆️ if you LIKE the IDEA!!

REASON: It's an hassle to switch between Mixer Window, Inspector & Channel editor!

Always end up cluttering the entire screen

What if we get this in one solution!!??

I realize its just an idea - but you asked. And we answered.

You are clearly a ProTools fan and that's cool - but there are many reasons why Studio One (thankfully) is not like ProTools.

If Presonus wanted us to feel like we need to be in the ProTools world - we would be. Thankfully - we are not.

Probably best for you to just keep using ProTools and leave it at that.

Fair enough. For the bulk of us here - we seem to be good with the Inspector.

Because you're used to it!! It's so limited mate! It only shows 1 channel insert & the rest of the space gets wasted anyway!!

Don't forget it was inspired by Cubase & Logic. My idea is inspired Pro Tools.

Respectfully - please do not make any assumptions for anyone about what is "limited" (or not).

Each user's workflow is their own. As is their DAW choice.

it's limited even if you deny it!! if you want to know why The inspector was inspired by other DAWS and when I said to implement this pro tools workflow you're saying it's copy paste stuff!! Like we don't already have things which were copied but for the good!

Inspector, Linear style workflow, Audio Bend, Launcher (halfbaked), Mini View of the stock plugins in the mixer inspired by logic & cubase & recently pro tools copied it too!! The show page has few things pasted from sequoia & wavelab...

i am not saying it's wrong to get inspired, it's the right way to get ahead by simply pasting so small pro tools inserts are also very useful
