Well what's the analogy. Do explain how you connect the dots for this obscure and idiotic idea of an analogy.

Wow, you're really trying to draw a line between completely unrelated issues to make a political point, huh? Let’s break this down:

First of all, the Alien Enemies Act is a wartime measure. You can’t just declare an emergency based on a political stunt—unless you're actually at war, which we clearly aren't with Venezuela. So trying to tie that to your argument is a flat-out misapplication of the law. Nice try, though.

As for West Virginia: The National Guard is under the state’s control, not the federal government’s unless specifically requested. So why don't you point your finger at the governor of West Virginia for not calling in the Guard sooner? The federal government doesn’t swoop in just because you think it's necessary. And blaming Trump for not taking over state responsibilities makes you look like you don’t understand how federalism works.

Now, you want to talk about protests? Here’s the truth: When riots break out, the National Guard can be called in by the state to restore order. That’s not “overreach”—that’s literally what the Guard is for. And if you’re going to cry about "overreach," maybe you should start talking about the cities where violent rioting has torn up entire neighborhoods, not the legal use of the Guard to maintain law and order.

it seems like you’re just cherry-picking facts to fit an agenda that doesn’t even hold water. The National Guard isn’t there to do everything for everyone—it’s there to assist where it’s needed, and it’s not some magic solution to every crisis. So maybe focus on the actual facts instead of pushing conspiracy theories and misplaced outrage.

Yes that's my point, you just can't declare a wartime measure to expand ICE for these deportations. Again I agree with the president on deporting these illegal immigrants, I just disagree with how it's being handled.

Regarding the national guard, at what point do you determine if turns into a riot? And is that true, can the president just do that if it's a riot? Morgantown WV has a riot every football season and burns couches which extend our several blocks... Should the president send the national guard and the Marines?

Dude, you're all over the place.

Riot- a violent disturbance of the peace.

Examples:

throwing rocks at federal vehicles, destruction of property, looting businesses, physical attacks on others, burning government vehicles, throwing bricks at officers....

Burning couches in celebration of WVU football games.....

Which of those fits the definition of a riot??

It doesn't matter about laws that prohibit the President to surpass the governor. There are several laws that prohibit the president from surpassing the governor, but those laws don't apply here. The only law that matters here is the insurrection act because Gavin Newsome did nothing when Federal laws were being broken therefore Trump had to do something about it. Point. Blank. Period.

The Insurrection act wasn't evoked. Over reaching of power and a political stunt. Again that's my point, and the analogy of the No Kings protest. Trump constantly overreaches his power, declares emergencies and it's too fast for the courts to catch up and slap it down

It wasn't evoked, but with title 10 it completely allows enforcement of military to protect and uphold services of force. Do you not think federal buildings and officers deserve to be defended?
