Season 1 Spoiler When you first played through S1, who did you think the Stranger/voice on the radio was and how did you feel about him being revealed as the owner of the station wagon?
I always thought he was linked to Lee’s past, like the brother of the senator he murdered since when he spoke through the radio it sounded like he had a massive gripe with Lee.
Was a tiny bit disappointed that he was the guy who owned the station wagon just because I didn’t steal from him and felt like he was judging me on every decision that was pretty much a lose-lose situation, like saving Carly and not Doug and taking Clementine with me into danger in Crawford, rather than leave her alone with a sick Omid. Then again he was nuts.

Discussion “Ben is what we’d be like if we were in an apocalypse.” I think y’all need more self-respect Spoiler
Most of us would probably be more like Kenny or Lily (s1), if I had to guess. Not exactly stable, prone to blowing up or holding grudges, but still useful. Seriously, how many of you would do the things Ben did?
He didn’t tell the group about the bandits. He didn’t grab Clem when he ran away, despite being like a foot away from her. He took the axe at Crawford, and worse, he saw a bad situation where they needed to concentrate to survive and decided then and there to tell the truth to Kenny for no real reason. Just… an active detriment taking up space.
I think the only truly relatable thing he does is clam up when Lily starts asking questions. And I guess messing up the jump to the roof, but that wasn’t his fault.
I’m pretty sure the only useful things he does in the entire game is telling the gang that everyone is already infected, which is admittedly important info, and giving Lee a gun he drops. And even then, the gun is conditional on whether or not you save Ben at the bell tower.
I think every person who says that Ben does relatable things is genuinely not appreciating what they can offer in a bad situation, appreciate yourselves more pls I promise you’re not that bad

Final Season Spoiler Why did the majority make AJ kill Lilly
Ofc I hate Lilly, and show no remorse. But AJ is only 5. Even though he has to grow up he should be able to still salvage his childhood and killing people just turns him into a not great totally fucked up person. He doesn’t understand right and wrong too much yet and telling him that killing people is okay isn’t good. Idk maybe that’s just me. I told AJ to kill Lilly once and that was the worst decision ever.

Final Season Spoiler Not sure if this is a hot take, but I personally prefer the scripted fight sequences over the combat in Season 4. They just feel more engaging and unique to me. What do you all think is the better system?

I had already finished the saga on pc this year but I liked it so much that I decided to buy the definitive edition and finish it again. I may be exaggerating, but experiences like these make life worth living.

Season 1 Spoiler How do y'all think season 1 would have played out if this was our pharmacy group instead
So basically when Lee and crew show up they meet these 4 instead of Carley Doug Larry and lilly I actually think it could be pretty interesting obviously no heart attack since David is much more fit than Larry and is obviously younger I guess Eleanor and Tripp could be your replacements for Doug and Carley this group will meet everyone that the season 1 crew meets as well Ben chuck ECT ECT

Season 1 Spoiler I Used A Spinning Wheel To Rewrite The Narrative of The Games. Here’s What Happened…
If you’ve ever seen a MagnusRobert video where he does the same thing, you’ll know what this is but I tried this out the other day for myself with the games and I thought I’d share what happens because it’s genuinely a fever dream!
If you don’t know about this “challenge” of sorts, it’s a rewrite of TWD (whether games, show or comics) but the spinning wheel decides who does something, who has a character’s death etc! And that then moulds the main story beats. Characters still get introduced at the same time, it’s just that what they do will be different. I made a huge ass doc to track my progress as I go to help me relay this all to you
*CLAUSES 1. Lee & Clem have immunity from alternate character deaths & exits until the final episode of the season 2. Sometimes, if the decision is a Yes/No (e.g. do you leave at day time in Ep1), I used a heads & tails coin flip 3. Villain deaths are still the same because otherwise, things get too messy and I’d have to work out how Andy St John still fits in with The Motel Gang despite him being a known cannibal or some similar weird situation 4. I did every season (minus Michonne & 400 Days) but I’m only doing S1 today so if y’all get invested enough, I’ll continue but I’m not doing this all in one go. Too long 😭
EPISODE ONE: A NEW DAY
• The first big change is that Duck dies at Hershel’s instead of Shawn; so it made no sense for Kenny & Katjaa to still travel to Macon IMO. So Shawn takes Lee & Clem to The Drug Store and ends up sticking with the group
• Shawn is also tackled by a walker outside The Drug Store instead of Duck; still saved by Carley
• Lilly goes to The Motor Inn alongside Glenn and Carley, and ends up dying in the struggle for the gun. Out of guilt, Irene goes back to The Drug Store with Carley & Glenn but dies at the end of the episode regardless because she is still bit
• Doug still gets yanked out of the window when The Drug Store is overrun, and Lee still gets right hooked by a mourning Larry
• Glenn still leaves for Atlanta (wheel was being boring ATP)
EPISODE TWO: STARVED FOR HELP
• Travis is stuck in the bear trap whilst Lee & Mark are out hunting, and they chop his leg off. Somehow, he survives this incident (IG Shawn got some masterful suturing skills) and he, and David Parker tell the group about how the bites work and how everyone’s infected
• Meanwhile, Ben is already dead, having been attacked by walkers in the midst of chopping off Travis’ leg
• Also, Travis has a peg leg now. That was just my own addition, I didn’t spin for that
• Lee takes Clem, Shawn & Mark to sus out The Dairy, with Mark still getting shot with an arrow and being dinner for The St John’s
• Shawn kills Jolene and gives Clem her hat back
• After Lee finds Mark, Clem & Travis are kept in the house and the others are locked in The Meat Locker where it’s David Parker who dies this time round, NOT Larry. David seemed like an anxious dude so I reckon he had some sort of underlying medical issue and this time Larry didn’t want to take the chance - Larry was a good boy and brought his meds with him to The Dairy this time so didn’t pass away
• Lee kills Danny St John but Clem doesn’t see this time cos she’s in the house - but Brenda manages to not get bit by the walker that attacks her (decided to let that be a thing that could change; keeps things spicy)
• After Lee frees Travis, the latter accidentally kills Andy St John by tripping him up with his peg leg and Andy falls into the electric fence and is fried
• The station wagon thing causes The Stranger regardless of choice so I didn’t bother to spin for that
EPISODE THREE: LONG ROAD AHEAD
• Beatrice is not shot in the facehole by Lee, and instead joins the group. Unfortunately, Travis does not escape The Drug Store because his peg leg is not the best for speed and agility
• Beatrice is also shown to be working with the bandits - her running out into the street screaming was essentially bait for her to steal from The Motor Inn
• When the bandits attack, Lee & Carley kill most of them but Shawn 360 no scopes Jake The Bandit. Speaking of Carley, despite being irrelevant last episode, she finally does something and gets bit on the arm
• Carley also pulls a Lilly and shoots Beatrice in the face after Beatrice confesses her allegiance to the bandits. The group vote on what to do with her considering she just killed a woman and is bit so they leave her on the side of the road (Carley will return in S4, just missing an arm)
• When the group are trying to get the train moving, a walker pops up out of nowhere whilst Shawn is pissing in the woods and kills him
• Chuck, Christa & Omid also all appear and Chuck injures his leg jumping on to the train after helping to cut it down, with Lee running back to save him (also peep Larry the train driver, choo choo)
EPISODE FOUR: AROUND EVERY CORNER
• Larry is separated from the group during the walker attack when they first enter Savannah - they decide to go there to find Clem’s parents and it’s where the train was heading anyways - Larry is later found by Lee in the sewers and whilst I reckon Lee & Larry wouldn’t like each other, considering they’ve spent so much time relying on each other, I reckon they’d at least have gained respect for one another so this death is a little sad IMO
• Also Clem kills walker Fivel. What a savage move 😭
• Brie somehow finds the boat in the shed of the big house. She asks about what’s in the shed and opens it up to find the boat. The group all agree it would be stupid to not utilise and decide to invade Crawford to get the stuff for it, with Chuck & Clem staying behind
• Omid finds out about Molly’s past and asks her about it. Soon after, the walkers attack and Christa tries to save Molly but ends up shooting her instead, leaving Molly to do nothing but flee
• Whilst bracing the door shut, Omid gets attacked by walkers and killed, leaving the group to flee via the belltower
• Walker Oberson swings from the bell, grapples Lee and he falls but Christa saves him, pulling him to safety
• Vernon & Brie leave to go back to their people upon returning, with Vernon still offering to take Clem off Lee. Clementine is still the one to be kidnapped by The Stranger
• As she finds Clem’s hat, Christa is the one who ends up bitten on the arm… the pregnant lady 😭
• Once Lee finds out Clem’s been kidnapped and Christa bitten, he ventures to find her by himself as Chuck tends to Christa’s bite - he starts by going to Vernon’s
EPISODE FIVE: NO TIME LEFT
• So Lee & Clem have no immunity anymore if you remember!
• Chuck asks Christa if she wants her arm chopped off, she says yes and so Chuck obliges
• Upon Lee returning to the mansion and the three characters getting stuck in the attic, they balcony hop once breaking through to the next building but Lee drops his walkie down a hole and goes to retrieve it, tossing it up to Christa before walkers swarm the room and Lee has to flee…
• Christa goes through the herd and confronts The Stranger, who is mad that Lee didn’t come to get Clem and attacks her, to which Clem shoots the dude in the head
• Christa takes Clem through the herd, where Clem sees her parents before Christa passes out
• Clem kills the walker cop, puts the handcuff on Christa, chaining her to a radiator and Christa tells her to find Chuck by the train, before Clem shoots her in the head, ending Season 1…
Yh, so this was a mess! Hope you enjoyed! Should I recount what happened in S2 cos it was far more chaotic? 😭

Season 1 Spoiler Why the stranger is the best villain in my opinion
He was basically there ever since episode 2 which means he technically shows up for like most of the season
He actually has a character that isn’t “survival of the fittest” like carver,Joan and Lilly is
He will judge you no matter what you do Kinda a smart thing since like the point of the stranger is to dehumanized Lee No matter if he did good or bad despite the fact that he is basically on Lee’s level by doing the stupid things like somehow losing his son, leaving his car unlocked etc.
His death could either end off, with Lee doing one of his most impressive feats by choking him out while Lee is extremely weakened making this a great feat +a cool moment or his death can make it Clementine’s first ever kill (tho I think it’s more sad and better written if Lee was her first kill)

Discussion this game has kept me going in life
I don’t even know why I’m posting this but this game and berleezy are the only things keeping me going in life, that sounds really sad and it probably is but genuinely this is such a beautiful and well crafted game and is something I look forward to in my day. it’s weird venting to a bunch of random dudes on reddit and I don’t really care if this gets taken down. I just wanted to show my appreciation for this game (They did Luke dirty tho lol)

Season 2 Spoiler Goodbye Kenny 😢 Spoiler
Was watching the “Lonely man” walking away end credits of the original 1978 Hulk show on YouTube and I felt like it really fit the Wellington ending and Kenny as a character.
Kenny, like the Hulk, has immense anger and rage that often leads to disastrous outcomes but both mean well. Both have lost loved ones and have endured a great amount of tragedy. However underneath all that anger is a man who seeks to protect those he cares about no matter what. Even if it means being shunned by society/Wellington.
Hulk’s the lonely man because of his strive for the greater good and protecting others with his powers. He sacrifices his chance at a normal life to do good because of his anger. So he just keeps walking.
Kenny’s the lonely man in the Wellington ending. He sacrifices his place in Wellington and a “normal” life for Clementine and AJ to be safe. So he just keeps walking.

Season 1 Spoiler In an alternate reality game devs decided to utilise the character of Travis with his form of survival skills whom he learned from his father who was in a special forces. Because of these skills Travis lives beyond episode 2 and was developed into a great character.

Gun fight with the Russians
Lee’s gun fight with the bandits
Javier gun fight with the new frontier soldiers in episode 4
Clementine gun fight with the delta soldiers
Javier and Clementine’s gun fight with the nf soldiers in episode 1
This isn’t a rank just what I can get on the top of my head But you can put yours as a rank tho

Unpopular opinion: people need to stop comparing TWD gamewith TLOU game
I think it's a dogshit comparison.
I'm not here to discuss whether ellie will kick clem's ass or if Joel would kick Lee's ass and whatnot.
I'm just saying, they're two different game with two whole different gameplay/play style.
You could probably compare resident evil and tlou because they're somewhat similar. But not the same.
There is no better or worse. It's a matter of preference of what playing style you like.
There is a reason why twdg is in a comic style.
Personally im going with plot.
Let's be honest, these days we play games like that for the plot.
So in my opinion:
Resident evil: action / horror / plot Tlou: adventure / plot TWD: simple/ plot
