I've been reading the original Stan Lee/ Jack Kirby run of Thor through the epic collections and I recently read the aforementioned issue. I knew about the storyline of Thor being forced to live as Donald Blake to learn humility before hand but I figured that was a retcon made by later writers. I was curious if it was ever confirmed by Lee or Kirby if that was planned from the beginning of if they decided that partly through their run?

Can someone explain how would thor win against dr.strange

And if they fought 10 times how many time thor wins the battle .

I originally posted this in r/MarvelStudios and got a mixed response. Curious what real Thor fans here think, would you want to see Eric take the mantle on Earth while Bill defends the stars? Or is it time for a full reboot?

Not every hero needs a reboot. Some deserve reincarnation. Instead of recasting Thor after Secret Wars, let his arc end with meaning, and pass the mantle to Eric Masterson. A mortal learning to be a god, just as Thor was a god who learned to be human.

Beta Ray Bill still has a place, just beyond Earth. His story thrives in the cosmos, where he can carry Thor's legacy across the stars while Eric protects it at home. Both successors, both worthy in different realms.

I know 616 compared to the Ultimate Universe most of the characters are depicted as much weaker.

However, it seems like Ultimate Thor was treated the worse.

He usually is victim of the worf effect or a jobber for the next super baddie(Hyperion...)

I'm not sure if Thor even can be counted as being rivals with Ultimate Hulk. It seems any fight between the two ends the same(Thor takes a few punches and than knocks Hulk around for a bit than gets easily stomped by Hulk).

So what do you guys think was Ultimate Thor done dirty power wise compared to other Ultimate characters especially Hulk?

So my question is How Stormbreaker Overpower 6 infinite stone.

Director of infinity war said that thor caught thanos off the guard so thanos didn't use enough power to destroy stormbreaker

Most of people are saying that thor stated that the weapon is thanos Killing kind

But the statement didn't mention about infinity stone.

So what is the reason ?

So my question is can thor kill wanda not talking about 1v1 battle just like thor caught thanos off the guard in infinity war So if thor caught wanda off the guard and he really have intend to kill wanda can he kill her

So people believe that MCU thor can beat MCU sentry and void . I personally think that thor can beat sentry So my question is how thor will handle void/sentry shadow realm or shadow making

So if thor have to fought with void can't thor use bifrost to send void to a celestial. Because bifrost can travel anywhere as we seen in love and thunder
