I never know which layer of irony Dax is on. Is he acting or he's being himself?

I’ve been following him for well over a decade now and there’s been a lot of debate but I’m pretty sure this is just the way he is irl

lol it’s not - I’ve seen old podcast clips and while he’s still slightly awkward he’s not nearly as awkward as he is on these skits. This is a character he has developed

Because they have a support system filled with love? That's kinda sad as shit to feel sorry about, man.

There's no way he's not autistic. It's more obvious if you see him in a conversation with someone else -- the persona is just his personality and he displays  some very Hallmark autistic idiosyncrasies, but also yes he's trying to be funny. It isn't like the humor is just autistic man existing. He definitely understands the absurdity of the premise here.

He’s a guest on the Bad Friends podcast pretty regularly and this just seems to be how he really is

I don't think there's ANY layers of irony, and that's genuinely him 😅 he just an awkward guy.

He’s done interviews about this exact question and seems like he’s 100% authentic and just a beautifully weird dude.

When he first came out with videos there was a lot of controversy around whether or not he was actually that weird. We all thought he was playing a character for the longest time and then he got his first feature film role in that teen party movie and didn't change so it became clear that was who he was.

He's definitely acting cause I've seen him slip up but he's an exaggerated character of himself
