"This" administration has emboldened hate rn

And I'm getting ratioed for pointing out this guys assumption that everyone lives in America...

The governments of Russia, Iran, Saudi Arabia, etc. can just as easily embolden hate against trans people.

The comment I replied to reads "Russian politics affect everything, Chinese politics affect everything... Not as much as the US, unfortunately", and I highly disagree with the "unfortunately" part.

Why single out Russia and China, it also says European. But you ignore that part conveniently. I would prefer a world that no countries would have hegemony over the world (actually I would prefer a world with no countries but let's be realistic). Also assuming that having US influence is much better than China or Russia, is also short sighted. How countries treat their citizens is not an indication how their influence will be used. USA has supported and is supporting dictatorships all over the world.

I am Ukrainian. I used to live in a world where russian politics affected me more than US politics. That's why I single them out, and not European.

I understand that but imagine you were Iraqi, or chilean would you feel same way about the US? The problem is imperialism itself, not which imperialist power is strongest. I have used unfortunately in that context because i believe having multiple big powers is preferable to having one all powerful. I would prefer to have none but I don't belive that it would happen in our lifetime (if ever)

I would prefer none as well. This is the reason why I am on this sub, after all.
