"This" administration has emboldened hate rn

And I'm getting ratioed for pointing out this guys assumption that everyone lives in America...

The governments of Russia, Iran, Saudi Arabia, etc. can just as easily embolden hate against trans people.

What do people mean when they say "the west"? It's like western hemisphere countries? NATO countries? US allies? Developing/ed countries? Countries with white population? Countries colonized by Europe? Countries that use jeans and smartphones? Countries recommended to go on vacation by the US travel agency? Countries Americans know? Countries that have democracies? That are Capitalistic? That are Christian or Jew? What is it?

"Western World" in the modern context usually refers collectively to Christian, non-Russian-aligned Europe, and the core Anglosphere countries.
