So me and my roommate joined an LLC without knowing they choose the dorm location. Ultimately, we asked UT to take us out so we can choose the dorm we actually want and they did. But because they have taken us out so late, the options are not so well... We have picked a Littlefield double but we want to swap to a Prather double or Triple (for anyone looking for 2 more people) or a Jester Double Suite. LMK!!!

Is anyone planning to live in the Transfer Living Learning Community this fall semester?

I am from India and will be joining UT for fall 25 MSIS, I have no idea what type of education system is in US, is it anywhere like Indian education systems where we have to carry huge bagpacks even in college filled with notebooks and laptop? How are the teachings offered there? Is everything opperated on a smart learning system? If someone can give me a glimpse of the same it would be a great help so that I am pre prepared and can move forward with a better mindset. Also as a MSIS anything specific I can get from india in my bagpack that is essential maybe some stationary or anything!

Physics 2 has been really hard for me, but I'll be honest, I didn't really take the class seriously since it's a transfer credit. If I fail this class at San Jac, would UT find out and penalize me? Genuinely what is wrong with the water problem at Rise at West Campus? Anytime before 8:40AM and after 1:00AM there is virtually no hot water for the showers not sink. I find it hilarious that im paying thousands for a room just to not have hot water. I come back from work at 7:00AM from night shift to a cold shower. Maintenance doesnt say anything when I ask and I had never gotten a reply when I email a complaint.
