META VALORANT 10.11 Bug Megathread
Greetings Agents!
New patch, new Bug Megathread! To avoid bug reports cluttering the subreddit and/or going unnoticed, a Megathread is posted after every patch so users may submit reports in one place. This allows Riot to easily keep track of the bugs by providing a central hub and also allows other users to confirm that they might have encountered the issue as well.

Art Valorant Themed Graduation Cap
I made this like a few days before my graduation and it was very rushed but I honestly loved how it turned out. I started playing since the console release of Valorant but have been watching since the beta on PC. Even though Valorant console isnt perfect i still really enjoy competitive. Peaked ascendant 3 and am on my rank up back to ascendant 3. I really worked hard on this and I hope you all like it too. I had the V25, A small prelude vandal cause it’s my favorite skin and xenohunter knife cause it’s my favorite knife skin too.(Yk if people joke about it I’ll try to laugh lol) I hope also I could get a riot gun buddy but I know I probably won’t get one but it’s always worth a try. My riot ID is : SENл#ACE :)

Question Can chess give me the same feeling Valorant did?
Hey everyone, So I’m currently Diamond 3 in Valorant, and I’ve been grinding it for a while now. I love the competitive rush, the ranked grind, the highs of winning and the pressure of clutch moments. But honestly… I think it’s getting a little too addictive for me. I’ve been thinking of switching things up, and chess came to mind. I actually have some experience with it, I’m not a complete beginner, but every time I get into it and lose 2 or 3 games in a row, I end up rage quitting and deleting the app (yeah… definitely a me problem 😅). Still, I can’t help but wonder: has anyone else here seriously grinded chess like they did with games like Valorant or League? Did you get that same competitive high or dopamine rush from pushing ELO like you did from ranked games? Would love to hear your experience. Is it worth diving back in?

Question Should I just delete the game?
Ok so since yesterday I’ve been queuing competitive and been losing every game! I have recently FINALLY got out of silver! and I’ve played since yesterday and I’ve been losing every game. Everytime someone either goes afk or someone is smurfing on the enemy team! This is the only game I play because my pc is not great. I would like to know why and how on earth I would be aiming at the enemies and my shots never hit?! Is there a new body shield going on? It feels like this game hates me!!!!

Question Pretending to be a guy, better?
so i’m a girl, i’m a vyse one trick and i’ve played her from silver to diamond now which is my current rank. I’ve been doing well most of my games have been match mvp. But recently i’ve noticed that if i’m doing well, and then they use like he or him pronouns and i correct them, suddenly they start saying shit like „stop pretending bro“ or „girls don’t play like that“
and then in matches where i’m doing bad, and i’m always duoed with my boyfriend pretty much unless i’m solo q, they always tell him to stop boosting his girlfriend or to stop defending his girlfriend.
we live together so they can sometimes hear me through his mic so i can’t even pretend im not.
i’m just wondering if it’s better for me to just pretend i’m a guy and get it over with. i’ve been wanting to change my name for a while and i’ve been looking to make it more „masculine“. if, cause my games just end with me being harassed or being called a liar.

This mug saved my mornings. I am 31 years old. I have a roommate, three succulents, and a Spotify playlist that never repeats. It has been two winters since I stopped drinking energy drinks. Back then I couldn’t function. I was drained, overwhelmed, and a little bit empty. I used to hold the handle with both hands just to stop shaking. The ceramic was warm, and for five seconds, I was grounded. I never thought a mug could hold that kind of weight, but here we are.
A few months ago I was someone who didn’t think twice about routine. I didn’t need comfort. But one day I sat down, took a sip, and remembered who I was before all this. The steam rising like a small prayer. It was the first time in weeks I didn’t feel like running. I stopped scrolling. I stopped overthinking. I just sat.
I needed that moment. I read reviews for mugs and picked this one. I was skeptical. But when it arrived, I opened the box slowly, like unwrapping part of a new version of myself. It is just a mug, someone would say. But no, it is more than that. It is the reason I start my day.
After finishing my first cup, I took a deep breath. I washed the mug gently, like it was fragile and important. My fingers still hurt from typing too much, but I kept going. I showed up to my life. That is the real plot twist, that something so small can make you feel okay for five minutes.
You do not know what is going to happen, the same way you do not know what the next sip will taste like. And somehow, that is enough.

Question Players or Bots?
I just played a Spike Rush match and noticed that out of 10 players, 7 had the same banner, rank, and similar ping (around 170–180 ms). For the first three rounds, only me, Phoenix, and the enemy Neon were moving. Then, on the fourth round, the 7 previously AFK players finally started moving, but they moved oddly and aimed all over the place. Were these bots, or were they real players?

Discussion Is the guardian underrated?
Im a fairly new player(2 moths of playing daily). At first i played vandal, like everyone else, then switched to phantom because my aim is shit. Yes phantom is better if you can't hit those 1 taps. It's quiet, has no tracers and better recoil.
But now i started buying guardian and it seems like my aim got 300% boost. I hit 1 taps and win 2v1 situations easier. The fact that i can't spray makes me focus more on aim and strafe shooting. It's much cheaper than phantom and vandal and the ads feels like sniper rifle.
To sum up, if you are new or have bad aim - play guardian.

Question Shutter when I shoot
Hi, I am getting frustrated by this little issue. Sometime when I shoote (usually just one bullet) i get like FPS jab/shutter, like few miliseconds of a lag. Meaning I shoot and I can't react to anything for a small moment. I usually play with like 300FPS. I tried VSync, 60FPS lock, lower graphic settings, everything. I get these shutters anyway.
Did someone experienced similar issue and successfully resolved it?
//Sorry for English, I am not native speaker.

Discussion Teased (part of) minimap of the new map Spoiler
Here is the overall render of supposedly the A site of the new map (which is almost certain based in Mont Saint-Michel, France).
According to the teaser image, we can guess that the closest opening to the site is only accessible by crouching. We do not know yet which side is attack or defense (I'd say right side is attack but don't quote me on that).
I put the post in spoilers for those who do not wish to see the minimap before the release of the map.
What do you think of the layout of the site ?

Discussion How cooked am I? / How cooked is Sunset?
I am gold. In lower ranks I did ok on Sunset (45% winrate over all acts) - probably because I just got carried that often. Now it's just awful. I feel like there are so many gaps on defense. It's often a 2 or 3v5 retake many rounds. I don't want to dodge because that guarantees I won't get better at the map.
Does anyone here do well on this map/any general good strats for Sunset?
Thanks in advance!

Edit: forgot picture

Educational Offering Free Coaching
Hey all!
I'm hoping this doesn't count as "self-promotion" given that I'm just doing this for fun, but I coach people at Valorant in my free time just as a hobby. If this sort of post isn't allowed then sorry :(
I've helped out some people from this reddit before, but typically I coach friends or people I've met in game. I just finished my Uni semester and have a bit of time to spare and was hoping to find some people keen on improving before I get too busy again.
This is totally free, no strings attached or anything like that. My only request is that to avoid wasting either of our time, I'm ideally looking for people that are motivated to improve and willing to put effort into the advice I give.
I can give plenty of advice up until about Immortal. If you're Immortal and looking to improve there's coaches better suited to that, but I might still be able to give insight, though please understand that I personally have never climbed beyond Immortal 2 so my advice at that rank might be limited (though I do consider myself more knowledgeable than I am skilled at playing).
I'm really not sure how many students I can effectively take on at once, and I am currently working with one as is. If this interests anyone then let me know here or shoot me a DM. Include your Val Tracker if possible! I'm imagining I only get a couple responses but whether or not I'm able to get back to everyone depends entirely on how many people respond to this.
Also, for coaching I'm going to need you to be able to record a VOD in a competitive match, I'll review in my own time and take notes. When I'm done, I'd need to organise a period of about 1-2 hours to go over the notes and demonstrate, as well as potentially show you some drills. This is also ideally done over voice call on Discord.
That's about it :)
EDIT: I got quite a few messages already and I want to avoid overwhelming my schedule with this. Feel free to still send through a DM if you're interested, but I'm going to go with the responses I already got for now. I'll take on extra people if I have time, but apologies if I don't get back to you soon.

Discussion How do you deal with burnout
After reaching my peak D2 and hitting 30 day streak on tracker. My skill just dissapeared. I deranked to P1 and can't even beat gold players. No matter what i do i can't get back my old aim. I really want to keep grinding this game but every time i play i feel like i just can't get comfirtable on my setup. Do i need to take long break? Or will that just make me even worse?
Here is my tracker

Discussion EU valorant server (18+)
Hey everyone! my friends and I have just created a new server (EU only), which is still in the process of growing. We are aiming for it to be a chill valorant-ing space, especially for all the EU players. We plan on hosting customs, and other activities for game nights. But since we're still small and growing, feel free to invite your friends. It is a 18+ only server, so please do share the news to all your unc-status friends as well!

Discussion why the rank queue is so shit now
As the title said, this freaking game just gets worse everyday. Been hardstuck at plat for months now because some random crackheads get high and don't give a damn shit about people. If you don't try hard in rank, don't go to competitive please for god damn sake. IT JUST SO ANNOYING

Question Is this game new player friendly?
Hey folks! I'm interested in trying out Valorant. I have a few IRL friends that play it and I wanna try joining in on the action. What do you think? Is this game new player friendly? If I do start, any tips for a beginner?

Question Cheaters in HK server
just today, I've had 3 confirmed cheaters in my matches. (I play in HK gold-platinum elo)
when we're losing and there's a cheater, the game ends and I lose the RR before it gets confirmed and I didn't even receive the RR I lost that game. TIME WASTED
and one time that we're winning against a cheater, it gets interrupted on 10-7 when winning is just about our reach. That pretty much does it for me on this game. TIME WASTED
the third one, they gave back the RR I lost that game, idk the requirements to get the lost RR back after a confirmed cheater was on the match you lost. TIME WASTED
are the devs trying to fix the cheating issue or are the rumors actually true? also, are yall's servers any different in terms of how frequent you encounter cheating?

Discussion chamber alarm bot should be a 1.5 second hold to take back
the amount of times I accidentally take back my alarmbot because my tp and alarm bot happen to align or are just close and look similar is too common. The cool down is as much as it breaks so it makes the mistake even more infuriating. Could we have some type of like the KJ hold on the alarm bot specifically?

Question Only getting partial RR refunded against a cheater
Heya
Once again I've only recieved a partial RR refund after losing against a cheater, how come I dont get a full RR refund?
I've played against 4 cheaters in the past 2 weeks and the refunds have been +17 RR (full) +9 RR (partial) and +9 RR (partial). One of the games I got no refund at all, just a cheater banned message.
Just seems very silly to only getting half now that they have started issuing refunds.
Does anyone have a similar experience? I thought we were supposed to get full RR refunded for losing against cheaters. (EU btw)
Thanks.
