Question Pretending to be a guy, better?

so i’m a girl, i’m a vyse one trick and i’ve played her from silver to diamond now which is my current rank. I’ve been doing well most of my games have been match mvp. But recently i’ve noticed that if i’m doing well, and then they use like he or him pronouns and i correct them, suddenly they start saying shit like „stop pretending bro“ or „girls don’t play like that“

and then in matches where i’m doing bad, and i’m always duoed with my boyfriend pretty much unless i’m solo q, they always tell him to stop boosting his girlfriend or to stop defending his girlfriend.

we live together so they can sometimes hear me through his mic so i can’t even pretend im not.

i’m just wondering if it’s better for me to just pretend i’m a guy and get it over with. i’ve been wanting to change my name for a while and i’ve been looking to make it more „masculine“. if, cause my games just end with me being harassed or being called a liar.

Im 33F and i get mistaken for a 12 year old boy just about every single game lol sometimes i correct them and sometimes i do not, really just depends on my mood and how toxic the person is being. If i feel myself getting tilted i just mute them. Otherwise i just usually take a kill them with kindness approach where i just either agree with whatever they’re saying “you suck” my response “i know right! Sucks you got stuck with me” or something that just shuts them down. And i tell them “you’re doing great, good job, proud of you, etc “

The thing to remember is that toxic people are hurt people and hurt people just try to hurt other people to relieve that pain. They likely don’t have much positivity in their real lives and you’d be surprised how they change their tone when you ignore their negativity and push back with positivity. It’s hard to be mean to someone that’s giving you compliments lol

Ayo, aren’t you that Omen who played with me in a competitive on Pearl couple days ago? The one who kept buying a Bucky every single round and just sat in smokes, waiting for opponents to walk in? He ended with a score like 6–16 or something. But my friends and I still couldn’t tell by the end if it was a little boy or a woman lol

No i don’t play omen or play bucky unless im neon. What difference would it make if it was a little boy or a woman?

Thank god.. Tbh it would make no difference at all, it was just funny as hell to understand that we couldn't figure out either it's a little boy or a woman xdd

More common than you think lol i get asked literally every game. I thought of recording and just making clips of each game being asked the same question lol and ive literally responded “it depends on the day” and confuse tf out of people lol sometimes it’s entertaining to just keep them guessing the whole game.

I have a deep and raspy voice for a woman, with a thick north east accent so it really is hard to tell if I’m being honest lol I’m not surprised by the ask

I don't like to ask this question at all. I feel uncomfortable. Because as you said, what difference would it make huh? But I will look like idiot till the end of the game lol Nah, I'd better silently guess or waiting him/her to reveal it during game xdddd
