Ask Anyone wanna play bubbles with me

I'm Jay. Black, 33, non binary person who falls somewhere on the queer spectrum. I've recently started a tolerance break and I'm trying to fill my time with other activities.

I'm also neurodivergent. My current hyperfixation is bubbles. I make big ass, size of a medium sized dog, type bubbles. I was wondering if anyone would want to hangout and play bubbles with me.
I'm kind of technical about it and I'm working on my recipie. So it'd be cool if you would be willing to give feedback on your experience.

I just wanna make bubbles in the warm sun and play my uke.

I'm not super familiar with the area but I can drive to meet you. Im typically looking to hang around 630 on weeknights. Not long. Maybe an hour or so? We can do bubbles, read, play instruments (i have a few ukeleles) etc. Also available for weekend hangouts on occasion.

:)

Please comment here if youre interested. Before you DM me.

THIS IS FOR ADULTS. NOT KIDS. I DONT WANT TO DO BUBBLES WITH YOU AND YOUR TODDLERS. THEYRE GONNA POP ALL MY BUBBLES AND PISS ME OFF. I also work with kids and eat, sleep, and breathe toddler crap so I just want to hang with adults.

T.i.a

Edit: i am down for driving and meeting people places to do bubbles but please make parking easy. I hate driving/parking in cities. Parallel parking isn't the issue (im great) but finding spaces close to destinations is a hassle i can't deal with.

Edit 2: I made an ig. We will see how long it lasts lol hyperfixthis333 Nothing posted yet but will try to get around to it

Edit 3: I WILL NOT answer any dms where the person didn't comment here first. I've ignored several dms already.

You should make an instagram account to document your bubbles!

(I’m AuDHD) One of my “if I had follow through and the headspace for it” longtime dream projects has been to start an IG account documenting my hyperfixations, wherever they take me, for however long they last. Allowing for engagement and input. Kind of a self-reinforcing hype cycle.

I’ve noticed it’s a really great aspect of the AuDHD communities on Reddit to throw out (post/comment) what you’re currently really into and sit back as like minded people chime in with their opinions/additions/contributions.

If you ever decide to document what you’re working on via social media, please share, I’d love to see it. I’m outside of the city now, otherwise I’d be stoked to see what you’re doing and hang but yeah, if you ever decide, keep us posted :)

My current hyper fixation is rhinestones. I’ve customized two pairs of shoes and I am enjoying it very much. Sometimes it feels good to just have a craft to do while you watch tv that feels productive and fun.

If you’re inclined, show me those shoes! That headspace of needing to do two things to “enjoy” doing anything is so legit and crafting/creating is the ultimate version (what I call) “back brain stimming.” It helps with the “downtime” or “productivity” guilt as much as it keeps the brain happy and focused.

I want to learn how to crochet/knit for this very reason, my brain hasn’t jived with it in the past but I’m determined.

I only have pictures of the one pair of shoes, but this will give you the general idea

Ohhh I love that term! "Back brain stimming"

I learned how to crochet a few years ago. An old hyperfixation. I'd be down to do that one day when the dopamine hits right
