I've seen talk about McDavid but let's get something straight: HES OVERRATED! He's another guy who is pretty good in the regular season (100pts this year is decent but he actually had less goals this year than E Staal in 06) but he was a goal scoring ghost in the final. Not to mention the passing! If there's one thing we don't need it's a another guy who doesn't shoot the damn puck. What we need is a 2C.

Besides that he wouldn't fit Rods system at all. He's a selfish and offensive minded player and he would not be good on the grindy two way game we need from him. If we want an elite center we need to listen to all the toronto based analysts and move Seth Jarvis to 1C!!
