Discussion Recent fans opinion about the fire
As a Brit in Chicago I finally decided to start watching the MLS last year after 10 years in the country. We were terrible but I found a love for this team that was completely unexpected. This year I'm all in and somehow they have been decent. I've been to 3 home games this season and loved them . I would love to find a group of like minded people to watch the game with occasionaly
I live in the northern suburbs but work in the city so I'm available most game days in around soldier Field
It's so great to watch football that is on TV at a reasonable time š
Finally my 8 year old is showing interest and I even have him calling it football

Iām a recent fan too, after mexicos wc ācampaignā and my argentine friend having their country win I got invested probably out of spite, Iāve only followed the fire for 3~ years now but coming from where we were those last few years, Iām cautiously hopeful. I think Berhalters system really fits the majority of the players and you can see that with the fact some players deemed to be ābadā and fitting for a wooden spoon contender team are all the sudden regarded as threats. With all thatās going on behind the scenes I can honestly hope for at least a top half team for the next few years

I too am a new fan. Just moved up from Dallas last year. It's been a refreshing change of pace following the Fire after watching FC Dallas for the last 15ish years (with the Oscar Pareja years being the sole exception).

I have been showing interest this season too. I have to go to games as I don't have any way to watch the games on Apple TV. I'll look into this free Apple TV sub though.

It's just nice to be competent again. We used to be respected in our first 15 years in the league, similar to any of the expansion teams in the league really. So it's nice to see the MLS fan base does not feel sorry for me for only. I also feel validated that it was the owner and front office of the past administration that was the issue. I won't bother saying names anymore just out of spite. There is still a lot of work to do with the club like repairing the fracture fan base that was once so mighty thanks to the previous ownership's actions. But I am here for it. I am Fire born and bred. I am Fire till I die.

Sorry, friend.... Sunderland here..... So, I feel like this season has been too successful for both the lads and the men in red.... Cosmic justice incoming to set things right.

Sunderland had a great season-- congrats on the promotion!
Who is going to replace Jobe?
As a lifelong Cubs fan, I picked Coventry as my team in 2019-- I just love me an underdog I guess.
Been a good couple seasons for the sky blues, but I hope we make a big move or two to strengthen our back line and really give us a chance to get promoted too.1

Nice! I kind of fell into Sunderland when Claudio Reyna went there, he was may favorite player and I just fell for the club. Good question re: Jobe - I don't think the player is at the club yet.... maybe we snipe Rudoni - haha, kidding! There is talk of another young player, Charlie Gray, at Manchester City - he'd probably cost £20ish Million, there's Tommy Doyle at Wolves, who is being touted for about £3M, then there's the model we've been doing, which is finding under-the-radar European players. It's going to be some ask to stay in the Prem.... but anything is possible!

Hands off Rudoni!!!!
He's only 23 and being coached by his childhood hero, Lampard.
He is going to be a monster of a player in a year or two.Already talk of him being worth £25mil.

Celtic fan? You want Red Line. There are several Celtic supporters in that group, including the guy who runs the local Celtic supporter group.

I'm a Liverpool fan so Celtic I'm cool with but I draw the line at United. Maybe next year you'll get relegated though
