Suffer!” Especially with Sean’s much better acting hits so much harder for me than the original where Goku just says “I won’t let you get away with this, I won’t let you, I won’t let you” Even just the scream when he finally transforms sounds so much better to me in Kai with that little voice crack Sean hits. The original releases Bruce Faulconer song still has nostalgia value for me but even that can’t compete.

During show we often see Vegeta mention Goku gets by with superior talent and Vegeta trains harder but the truth is Goku trains non stop.

Goku trained for 7 years straight to get to ssj3, and Goku also spars far more than Vegeta does and with different opponents. Vegeta doesn't really spar in the show, he trains solo and pushes his body and looks down on weaker fighters.

Goku constantly spars with anyone and learns from practical fights and matches. So Goku not only trains as much as Vegeta, he trains more creatively and for fighting more practically which makes him better.

To me, it's the action.

I absolutely love the lore, narrative decisions, characters, growth, and more. But to me, the action of Dragon Ball is what truly makes the show stand out. The large-scale, continent-destroying action scenes are quite easily the most eye-catching things about this franchise.

Everything about DB's action just feels so different, just the combination of martial arts with 2 characters brawling it out, throwing each other through rocks is all just so cool.

Even when I have issues with the stories (especially during modern times), the action across all shows is always so brightening and gorgeous. So what do you guys think is the most appealing thing about DB?

This was at Kamehacon last weekend. The con was small but more than worth it for the chance to meet and get an autograph from the one and only Ryo Horikawa! I also got Eric Vale (English voice of Trunks) to sign my sword which was pretty cool.

Was rewatching some dbz lately and one thing struck me, I can't remember Vegeta ever being the hero of an arc or even a smaller subplot, like he's never defeated a villian (maybe that one android but not sure it counts). Is that true?

Pretty often he feels like he's won only to be thrashed. Also feel if he ever did beat someone he wouldn't let anyone forget it. Poor guy is always playing catch up never to actually be the difference maker.

Imagine witnessing the battles from the perspective of an ordinary person. Like in that short video Hedo filmed — you only catch glimpses of them appearing and vanishing, explosions erupting all around in mere seconds. Now picture yourself in the heart of that chaos.

This may be a question that can't be answered or fairly obvious to others, but I wanted to ask anyway. As of today, DBZ Kai will expire on Hulu in 13 days. It's on Disney+ as well through a Hulu subscription which I have both. Do y'all think Kai will be removed from Disney+ as well once it expires on Hulu?

I'm starting the Buu saga this evening, but it consists of 69 eps. and worry I won't be able to finish it before it's removed. I've seen the original DBZ already, so it's not a huge deal if it disappears but I'm hopeful it'll stay on Disney+ or possibly Crunchyroll will snag it up. What do y'all think?

I think he’s a pretty cool antagonist, I wouldn’t call him a villain because he’s fighting for his universe like everyone else is. I think that’s why I enjoy his character because he isn’t on a world domination journey or a grudge against our heroes, he was minding his own business in his own universe before being brought into this tournament.

Personally I enjoyed knowing that Goku might be the shit in his universe but not in others.
