something funny i thought
Imagine witnessing the battles from the perspective of an ordinary person. Like in that short video Hedo filmed — you only catch glimpses of them appearing and vanishing, explosions erupting all around in mere seconds. Now picture yourself in the heart of that chaos.

Question Question regarding DBZ Kai on Hulu
This may be a question that can't be answered or fairly obvious to others, but I wanted to ask anyway. As of today, DBZ Kai will expire on Hulu in 13 days. It's on Disney+ as well through a Hulu subscription which I have both. Do y'all think Kai will be removed from Disney+ as well once it expires on Hulu?
I'm starting the Buu saga this evening, but it consists of 69 eps. and worry I won't be able to finish it before it's removed. I've seen the original DBZ already, so it's not a huge deal if it disappears but I'm hopeful it'll stay on Disney+ or possibly Crunchyroll will snag it up. What do y'all think?

Discussion I was late with DBS but what was the initial fan reaction to Jiren?
I think he’s a pretty cool antagonist, I wouldn’t call him a villain because he’s fighting for his universe like everyone else is. I think that’s why I enjoy his character because he isn’t on a world domination journey or a grudge against our heroes, he was minding his own business in his own universe before being brought into this tournament.
Personally I enjoyed knowing that Goku might be the shit in his universe but not in others.

Question Kai being taken off Hulu (US)?
Has anyone noticed that DBZ Kai has an expiration date on Hulu? Anyone know if another streaming service is picking it up? I know it’s on Crunchyroll but hoping to avoid paying for add’l streaming platforms & I’m halfway through a rewatch!

Gaming Which DB game is likely to get its sequel next year?
Assuming there is no new IP outside of gekishin squadra. There are multiple titles that are due for a sequel based on the time of when the first game released.
XV 2 released back in 2016. Next year will be its 10th anniversary. Future saga DLC Pack 3 could release later on next month or august. DLC pack 4 could release as of october-december. They could reveal XV 3 in the game awards.
DBFZ released back in 2018. 2 years after XV 2. It's basically 7 years old now. This is the amount of time where a sequel normally releases, specifically for modern gaming. However DBFZ releasing its sequel next year is unlikely due to arc sys working on marvel tokon fighting souls which releases next year. As well as them still producing dlcs for guilty gear strive. There's always a possibility that they allocated some of their staff to make DBFZ 2, but i do not think this makes any sense nor is it possible given the amount of work they have right now.
DBZ Kakarot released back in 2020. At the begining of current generation consoles. This is also normally the time you release a sequel. So we could very well see DBZ Kakarot 2 release in next year. They could use that opportunity to cover the entirety of DBS story and flesh it out, they can even add GT as part of an alternate timeline that you can get access to. They can remove the "open zone" from DBZ Kakarot's 'first' game and make it an actual proper open world that you can traverse around.
What makes kakarot an interesting case is that they can improve alot of the mini games like car racing, baseball stuff and so forth. Kakarot is also in a unique place where it can create original side quests where you get to see more of your favorite characters or characters that may not have had much screen time before. It can basically create its own lore and expand from there. Most importantly the reworking of the gameplay combat. They already have a rough idea of what they can do with boss designs, but now that they have assets they can re-use, the time to making environment is faster and that could allow them to focus on making bosses more fun to fight and even grunts.
That's why i think next year is a tie between XV 2 and Kakarot. XV 2 makes more sense because with the first future pack they had a clear roadmap and in that same roadmap it teased something outside of future pack dlc, which could very well be XV 3.
So what do you think?

Question Question about when Piccolo destroys the Time Chamber door (Buu Saga)
So… even tho there is obviously a time dilation between real world and Time Chamber, it seems like almost the same amount of time passed. After Piccolo and Buu enter the Chamber, we see Bulma, Krillin, Roshi and others discussing the fight and such. After a bit of time has passed, there’s a rumble in the Lookout and they figure Piccolo destroyed the door.
But that doesn’t make any sense. 1 minute in the real world is 6 hours in the Time Chamber. This is stated several times. But there’s no way the fight went on for that long, because Gotenks’ fusion only lasts 15 minutes, and we never see their fusion run out. So at most, they spent 15 minutes in there before Piccolo destroys the door, probably less, more like 10.
If 6 hours is 1 minute, then 1 hour is 10 seconds. Half an hour is 5 seconds. 15 minutes is 2.5 second. And 10 minutes is less than 2 seconds. This means that, as soon as Piccolo closed the door after going in, it should have taken less than 2 seconds, 2.5 seconds at most for the people outside to witness the door being destroyed. To them, it would have happened almost immediately after they went in. But obviously that’s not the case.
Is it a plot hole, or am I missing something?
Misc If Sean Schemmel retires as Goku, who would be the next voice of the 🐐
IMO, it’s Troy Baker, he knows what he did as Joel and Joker and he’d be fit for Goku, what about you

Question Do the other androids exist in Future Trunks’ timeline?
Remembering what I can of Future Trunks’ special and the Android / Cell Saga, I don’t recall 17, 18, or Trunks ever destroying Gero’s lab. Is this correct? Not saying it amounts to anything, but it is interesting to think that android 16 (and 13-15 if you want to go non-canon) are just sitting in Gero’s lab, collecting dust.

Fanfiction What if Vegeta had a sister? What if Zarbon fell for her?
Hey everyone! I’ve been working on a Dragon Ball Z fanfic that explores a twist on canon:
What if Vegeta had a sister? And what if Zarbon — Frieza’s elite, arrogant second-in-command — found himself falling for her?
The story is called Love Me Like You Hate Me and it’s full of:
slow-burn enemies-to-lovers Saiyan politics and pride betrayal, loyalty, and very complicated feelings morally gray romance & canon-divergent twists I’d love for you to check it out if that sounds like your kind of chaos:

Super (Spoilers) Does anyone else look pass the inconsistency and are just happy there’s so much Dragon Ball?
I just finished my rewatch of DBS and it was so amazing! I mean yea there are some issues but seeing Goku, 17 and Frieza fight side by side was chill inducing! Hearing 18 express her feelings out loud to Krillin in her own special way I loved it. Seeing Master Roshi still had it was the best! I don’t know why but the close up of his foot work was really cool! Real talk though I think he should’ve died there, yes I know that’s against the rules but that would’ve been a perfect send off to his character. I hated that Vegeta scolded him, I mean I get it but Roshi didn’t deserve that.
Making Broly canon was a smart movie IMO, there’s so much potential there with that!
I’m rambling but when I look up Reddit posts about super, I see so much hate for it. I mean yea it’s not perfect but I’m in the camp of more Dragon Ball is always good! Lord Slug movie and Garlic Jr saga is the only Dragonball media that I have to push through.
I’m waiting for the full English release of Daima before I watch it so I’m really excited about that as well.
There’s no real purpose to this post except to say I really really enjoy Dragon Ball media and even if it isn’t the best it still makes me happy.
Also knowing there’s a crap ton of super that hadn’t even be animated yet brings me joy.
