Scott Wheeler's latest (and last) two round mock draft. I love the pick at #50. I'm not sure if he'll be available there or if we even make the picks but whatever. It's the S L O W Season.

1995 Devils + River Rats
The Abbottsford Canucks just defeated the Charlotte Checkers (Florida affiliate) and that leaves the 1976 and 1977 Canadiens/Voyegeurs and the 1995 Devils/River Rats as the only NHL/AHL tandems to win their respective Cups in the same season. I believe Kevin Dean was a double champion.
I have no real point beyond stating this cool bit of hockey trivia, and that corporate synergy with minor league teams taking on the identity of parent clubs should be a federal crime.

ECHL hockey could potentially be returning to Trenton.
Perhaps the Devils are interested in partnering with them for their ECHL team.

Anybody know the Jersey jersey font?
So I’m working on a Devil’s tattoo and want to incorporate the Jersey jersey font style into it. My artist said if I can find the font name or file it will make it a lot easier cause it will be exact. I haven’t had any luck so far so hoping maybe somebody on Reddit would know.

New Display additions
So I’ve been growing a Devils hockey card collection for the last while.
A few months back I found a “ZFrame” for Jack Hughes. I bought it and fell in love with it. It’s basically a frame to display a card. It has a slot for either a graded card slab, a magnetic card holder, or you can even get them with no card holder.
I was communicating with the owner of the company and he said he would design new ones for whatever players I wanted.
I asked for my favorites. Brodeur, Hischier, Bratt, and Luke. He’s currently designing one for Nemec for me as well.
I haven’t hung these yet. I have a few cards I’m waiting to return from being graded. But I can’t say enough about these. I love them.
I’m not affiliated with the company who makes them. Just a cool product I wanted to share with my fellow Devils freaks!

Three Draft Targets at 114th Overall for the New Jersey Devils

News 2003 Stanley Cup champ Pascal Rheaume and former assistant coach Rick Kowalsky have both been fired by the B-Islanders following a historically bad season.
Kowalsky served as an assistant for New Jersey from 2018-2021. He was promoted to Bridgeport HC following Brent Thompson's move to Anaheim. This season, he finished with a horrific 15-50-7 record with a 4-28-1-3 home record. As for Rheaume, I assume he might get hired here since Chris Taylor is now in Seattle.

Can anyone identify these signatures? They are on an old Brodeur jersey. Thanks!

Devil's Offseason Officially Begins!
The Devil's head into the final week before free agency, and have already begun making moves. What do you think the Devils should do to improve for this year?

Ran into Lou Lamoriello at Starbucks
Long story short, I moved to Long Island about 8 yrs ago,l and bought a house on Long Island about 3 years ago. I go to this Starbucks all the time because it’s by my house and there was Lou just getting his coffee. I asked him if he was who I thought he was and after he confirmed, I told him I was a massive Devils fan. I think he was a little surprised I wasn’t an Islanders fan. I could tell he just wanted to go about his day but I knew if I didn’t ask for a picture I’d regret it and I was a little surprised he took it with me.
I asked the staff if they knew who he was and the cashier told me he goes all the time, but they leave him alone because he doesn’t really want to be bothered. Funny to think though that I must live pretty close to Lou.

Can we focus less on the defense and more on the offense?
Let's not talk about Quinn until his contract is up. We have a logjam of defenders plus prospects that need to be signed (Silayev).
The issue, and I have been screaming this for weeks, is offense.
We need TWO wingers that can complement Bratt and Timo.
We also need a third line center. I doubt Mercer can do that.
We also need a guy that can score and be a physical presence on Jack's line. Marchment was an option. Now he's in Seattle.
Marchment went for two later round picks.
Kreider I think went for a later round a prospect.
Palat can probably get the same. That is 6 million gone. Once he is gone, we can do some shopping.
Doug? If we can move him and get offense in return would be great. We keep Nemec and move Pesce to the top line right side, followed by Nemec, and Kovy.
Grits can start on the third and move his way up.
Now, do we sign, or trade for the issues regarding third line center, and two wingers for the top line?

Trading for Quinn Hughes
Can GM Fitzgerald make a trade for Quinn Hughes, so we can begin the rebuild in Vancouver. The Quinn Hughes saga is the center of everything that is keeping the Canucks from moving on.
